in order to replace the brakes on a Bentley you need to use a scanner to release the piston on the rear electric brake pads. here I show you how you can do exactly that using an Autel scanner. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
Do you know what years this applies to? I have an error light for the parking break right now. I wonder if that is a failed parking break switch/system, or could have been tripped when someone changed brakes without doing this process.
wow good tool be nice to show the job changing em as well
Do you know how to do this on foxwell NT809 ob2
What kind of scanner do you use for Bentley
Whats the model number for scanner
Do you need this tool for the front breaks?
No, only for the rear since it has electric e-brake
Hey thanks a lot I really appreciate it !!!!!! But it does need to be recalibrated right?
@@mrsnuff8252 Oh, For sure there needs to be a recallibration.
@@themodernmechanic428 what kind of scanner are you using for that Bentley
Interesting, i like to do minor service stuff myself, but this is a real dilema, do i pay my local independant to do a simple job, or pay £200 ($300) and buy a diagnotic kit and do it myself. It really is taking the PI** needing a diagnostic tool to allow you to retract a brake caliper, just shows how the motor manufacturers see their customers......they are cash cows, money for nothing. Rant over, but still damned annoyed ! Thumbs Up for video by the way.
JNFGambler i know what you mean and completely agree with you. IMO it makes more sense to buy the diagnostic tool especially if you plan on keeping the car for a while and doing this job a couple times, plus the tool is useful for many other things and cars.
I bought an Autel tool About $500 so I will do the job myself when the time comes
@JNFGambler24-7 what's yhe model numbers
