    I’ve just watched another video which said sunflowers don’t like flower food!??? So now I’m confused as to who is correct?!

    • @FlowerSchool
      @FlowerSchool  Před 3 lety

      That's an excellent question, Applewood Acres! We believing in processing most flowers (including sunflowers) well by giving them a fresh cut and placing them in clean water mixed with flower food, which helps them hydrate and be beautiful for your designs. If you care for your flowers well at the beginning of the design journey, they will last longer. Thank you so much for taking time to watch our show today and we hope to see you again soon for more magical floral design with Leanne. All the best to you!

    Can you use quick dip on sunflowers and just place in bucket of water or does it have to be the holding solution?

    • @FlowerSchool
      @FlowerSchool  Před 3 lety +2

      That's an interesting question, Night Hawk! We mostly use Quick Dip for roses and hydrangeas, but it would likely work for your sunflowers too. After you dip them, we do suggest allowing them time to hydrate in a bucket of fresh water and flower food so your sunflowers can rest, drink, and be beautiful for your designs. Thank you very much for watching our show, and we hope that you will join us again soon for more floral design tips and techniques with Leanne. Have a lovely weekend, filled with sunflowers and other beauty too!

    Can quick dip be used on organic bouquets?

    • @FlowerSchool
      @FlowerSchool  Před 4 lety +1

      Yes, it's not a chemical based product. It's all natural and not harmful.

    Can we take sunflower bouquet in laggege bag when someone gifted us in any event

    • @FlowerSchool
      @FlowerSchool  Před 5 měsíci

      That's a very interesting question, Om! There are a couple of different ways to look at it. Sunflowers are sturdy flowers with sturdy stems so they are less likely to get crushed in your luggage as opposed to other softer stem flowers. If you are carrying the luggage yourself, you will probably be careful with it. If you are letting other people carry your luggage (airline or bus staff), they might be less gentle with your bags and that could harm the sunflowers. Also you need to make sure that it is okay to take the sunflowers from one place to another. If you are crossing any borders or agricultural areas, it may not be allowed. It would probably be best to wrap your sunflowers in a few layers of craft paper or newspaper to protect them as well. Thank you for taking the time to watch our show and we hope you will visit us again soon. Sending you very best wishes and please have a marvelous week!

      Hi Adriana, I am not sure where in the video you are hearing Kevish blue. Can you tell me the time in the video that it occurs? Hopefully I will be able to answer better once I hear it.
