I have no mock up process...what I do is design the shirt on photoshop find a mockup zip file on line add the design to the mock up and texted to them...I'm usually making shirts for co-workers nothing big yet.

if budget not an issue go radicure, budget is an issue go ranar turbo jetstar. I have a ranar turbo jetstar, 24" wide belt, 4 feet infeed, 6 feet heat, 2 feet outfeed. I have a small anatol auto 5 color 6 station. I have one press operator that works for me and he runs all the jobs pretty much by himself. I help stack when im free like you do. He can run discharge and waterbase jobs on it at around 250-350 pieces per hour with one pass through. Its been a great budget dryer. Obviously the longer and wider you go the faster you can run it. Ive had no issues with quality control despite having a short electric dryer, the forced air works pretty darn good!

I just email a basic layout along with an invoice “for approval “ makes it obvious it’s in writing , never had an issue after ..

Great vlog Cam! Mock ups - I use a front/back image of the color shirt(s) and use inkscape to overlay the graphics as a "mask" as inkscape calls it... they see that and say yes/no... on the yes, I take pictures on my phone of the first shirt and message the customer both sides of the shirt. they text back their approval and I run with it. I cannot speak to what conveyor dryers are best... I've only got a tiny little used unit, had it about 1 month or so. It works for my plastisol needs!

  • @visionsscreenprinting3135

Yep. Mock ups are emailed. I think I'm going to get on with texting a pic of the first print too, but I'm a little worried about getting hung up waiting on a response with the press tied up.

We created a template for our mock ups that we send out. We do everything by email. We put in red text at the bottom to verify and approve placement, size and art.

I'm curious about how much time does your business take everyday. I'm guessing you don't have a day job anymore and this business is your main source of income now. I just want to ask if you find your business much more enjoyable (which I'm sure you do) than your previous day job. I'm leaning towards starting a business and making it my career and just wanted to hear from you on what the business is like. I'm currently doing some trial and errors on the whole process of printing and man do I have a long way to go. And your videos are great, man!

I have a PDF form that I created where I can insert images into that I send to the client for approval. Each page after the job specs has a front view, back view etc... Each mock up image is nice and large.

PRINT LIFE..!! I have a BBC Industries dryer that I am happy with. I had a problem with damage when it first shipped and their customer service team is top notch. They have a bunch of electric option including forced air. I'd at least give em a look. I will when I upgrade.

    Hey Cam,
I generally send a quick digital mockup through fb or email (something they will usually repost as well as tag me in too) and once I have the first print done and ready to go I will take a pic of it and send it off as well. just that little extra 'cover your ass' and make sure everyone is happy.

I remember those Haboobs they are no joke if you get stuck driving in them which I’ve done. A lot of my family is out there still. They were all posting pics and videos.

Hey Cam, We send our Mockups through Facebook if the client has messaged me through FB. If not then I forward the mockups to them through email. I actually figured an easy way for me to do them I do them through Printful. I use their mockup Generator to send mockups out. I have always struggled with mockups cause I am not sure how to get the size of the actually design to be done on a mockup shirt. Any advice on how to get actually size mockups? If my design is 11 x 17 and i pull a mockup tshirt from Google how do you size them to fit accurately ? Thanks Cam any help would be great.
