It's awesome that you take time out of your day to watch the videos and vlogs that I upload to The Print Life. I truly appreciate the love.
Please subscribe, like, and turn on notifications so that you are notified when I upload. in return I will keep uploading.
old vhs footage provided by / @incamera - Zábava
I love how I have ink on my lips for the majority of this video. The cost of making CZcams videos, some times you will look like a complete jackass!
The Print Life - HAHAHAHA...def been there. "Babe, what's that green on your fac...oh nevermind, I see it all over your shirt..."(as she softly whispers -dumbass).
Lol
So I gotta know. Were these videos for new employees or for the general public? Its sounds like there is some rage building up inside like you might work with your family LOL
Didn't see it
Haha, didn't wanna be the guy to say it!
You have no idea how much us "rookies" appreciate your videos. Thank you so much for the effort you put into them. You're awesome and thank you thank you thank you!!!
I use the same steps but with household items... dawn dish soap to get all the ink off, bleach for the emulsion, and paint thinner for the for any left over residue, lastly dawn dish soap to degrese and leave to dry. it has worked for me for about 3 years and my mesh last me about 6-8 months before remeshing my frames.
did-O! best way....use gloves tho
Very cool!!!
xoxo The Clarences
Digging the new video concept. Excited to see more!
So pumped that you’re doing a series! We are new to screen printing and this will help us SOOOO much! Thank man
I feel totally energized after this, I've got a pile of screens to go and get started on! Good video Cam, I hope there is a heap more in this series.
I love this, and look forward to all the training videos
Been loving all the vlogs / videos Cam! Happy to join the print fam here on youtube!
Love these tutorials!🤟🏽🤟🏽
Good job Cam! wish these were out a year ago, would have saved me a lot of time. Good to see that I have figured out the same process as you 🤙
Awesome video! Thank you for sharing this.
I love all your content, but keep doing this sort of stuff man! So many little things us garage printers are missing, this shit really helps.
Right on I will keep maing them. This is my video project for the next few months.
...I feel like I might be fired at any moment.
So did you get let go?
Why lol
Absolutely bloody wonderful you have a gift as a teacher thumbs up from the UK
great training Cam-O!
CZcams brought back memories... I need more of your videos, man!
It's cool watching your videos I've never had to do that to a screen because we use expresscreen and just cut off the screen and throw them away. I can appreciate now how much easier it is to make a screen in less than 10 minutes now.
Great stuff, as usual bro.
Nice Video Cam! I will be back to the Screen Print Business! Your videos are really awesome!!! Greetings from Moncton Canada!!
That was a amazing video square
I haven't built my dip tank yet so my 3 scrubbies are emulsion remover and dehaze/degreaser (1 for frame and 1 for mesh)
Great video brother!!!
Nice videos Cam!!
Thanks!!!! VERY HELPFUL!!!
09:19 , now we're here. 09:19 , now the whole team's fricken here. *PrintGang*
I've owned my shop for 14 years. I do everything myself. No grunts to clean and reclaim lol. Love my job... every aspect from design to print but reclaiming is the one step that feels like actual work.
Haha so true. If i'm reclaiming I have to get in a zen mode, when I'm zen and that phone rings I loose my shit. No more zen.
Excelent video!!
i thank people like you showing the needing this type of help and i want you to know od has a future for you and you should never take ur heart off of God because you have great things coming your way
Keeping him close.
Great video
Thank you for the video tutorial
Here in the Philippines, we only use zonrox bleach as a stencil remover. Then rinse it with water using just a spray bottle, but it is better with the pressure washer. If a stencil is still left in the screen, we apply lacquer flo by wiping it using a round rug. This will soften the hardened emulsion and also remove any ghost images left on the screen. I don't know why people are telling everybody that there will be oil on the screen, but in my experience, I haven't noticed. Maybe, the oil will exist for those who are using machines. For safekeeping, I will wipe the screen with lacquer thinner. This is to finalize the reclaiming process of my screens. And then the screens are good as new and are ready for another battle.
Good stuff
At my work, we use an Emulsion Remover, then a chemical called Screen Rejuvenator to help get the ghosting out. Then stage two, we wash it out with screenwash, then degreaser. not sure how much of that is necessary, but by the time we get to the degreaser, there is zero ghosting left.
very nice
Thanks
Dope!! Another tip if you're trying to dry them fast. Use the fan, then once they're dry, apply rubbing alcohol to both sides using a rag/shirt (not a napkin) to get all dust/particles off. Dries in 5 minutes.
Rubbing Alcohal? Really? I will have to test that out and see what you mean. Cool tip thank you

Hey, love your work!
I find your content very helpful for beginners like me.
Do you have a tutorial on how you create screen with mesh from scratch?
Thanks!
Good video. I need to make one for my shop. We use Easyway Supra for the Diptank and then 701 for the Spray. the 701 acts a dehazer and degreaser. When I get in the cleaning zone I can average 1 screen everyone few minutes.
yup we use to use that chemical as well, it great stuff.
The Print Life what made you switch?
lets try it..
omg You need to come train our staff when this is all set up lol or I am just going to take the spray washer to them!
Thanks for the video ! I love your cleaning station set up with the back light. How much pressure are you using with the washer?
Great video very informative! I was wondering if you think the paste haze reducer is better than the liquid pink haze reducr and degreaser.
This is probably going to go un-noticed, but us guys who want to do this at home... what's the best way to do this on an "at-home" scale?
Great video. Thank you. Can you please tell me the name of your pressure washer? That thing is perfect for reclaim.
We are having screens come apart after reclaiming and I know that I’m not leaving them in the dip tank too long. Love your videos Please help me lol
New so understand, a power washer can be very aggressive, I am assuming you are using a weak 1300 psi one but can it harm the screen, how do you replace a screen? I have yet to open the box.
I would add protective eye wear and respirator still no matter how eco friendly chemicals claim to be 👍🏼
Damn I should have included that safety shit in the vid, oh well I aint re-shooting it.
Are gloves also suggested? I am opening a new shop and the "eco friendly" chemicals are some obstacles I'm not looking forward to
@@matthewperlman7872 I recommend. It's still a chemical solution just with low levels so usually they don't affect your body compared to the non eco friendly. I would ask for test samples from the supplier test test test see what's right for you some eco friendly ones aren't as powerful
Any suggestions if you dont have a presser washer handy
Hi Cam !
This new serie will absolutely be very helpfull ! Thanks !
Can you tell me what exactly is in the tank and what is the pink stuff degreaser ?
That would help me to know if there is an equivalent to these products here in France.
Thanks !!
All the way from france! Thank you for watching. The pink stuff is just a dehazer/degreaser, ask you supplier over there for a product that degreaser the mesh and removes staining in the mesh.
Thanks for your answer. Always a pleasure to watch your videos !
We have special degreaser for screen printing in some shops here but they are liquid and not solid like your pink stuff. Maybe the liquid one will do the job but it will certainly be less easier to apply on the mesh.
where can I get all 3 scrubbing pads? thanks
Dope video Cam, why do you need a separate scrub for the frame and the mesh? I understand why you need one for emulsion. Cheers
That emulsion pad gets nasty as hell.
What’s the handle that holds the screens down in the dip tank called ?
Hi. Where can I get the dip tanks, the chemicals you use and the scrub brushes?
What type of solution are you dipping the screens in to soften the emulsion?
I’m gonna build a dip tank to save some money
Blacksheep Sérigraphie you should absolutely post a tutorial
Hey there I am having issues burning my screens I have done the steps to burn one coated the screen and placed the image on the the screen take it outside and let the sun expose it for 15 seconds but when I go to wash it out. It either blows out the image or doesn't even wash out. Any tips? I don't have an exposure unit.
I saw the mesh brush touch the frame @ 9:12.
amaría que esto estuviera en español 🤯
Hi Cam,
What jet washer are you using?
I can’t find one with such a short jet gun.
Thank you for the helpful video.
hum I think they are called blue something, great price for how durable they are, just make sure you get the one with auto on off feature.
Carlos Da Silva hey bud we’re you able to find the pressure washer?
hello! seeing this from Romania (somewhere in Europe) , just a small question, for washing with pressure, are you using hot water or could water or doesn't matter? The pressure how HARD should be?
What chemicals are in the dip tank
Might be a dumb question but do you have to was your screens after every job??
how many times can I use a screen if I want to use the same design ?
Every time I go to clean the screen there's always hazes of emulsion and idk how to get rid of it. There's always lines of emulsion
What pressure washer is that?
Very good. Do you just wipe the ink off screen and dip in emulsion solution? No need to remove ink completely before dipping?
Yes sir. That is one of the best features on a dip tank
Why do I feel like I’m gonna get fired if I get this wrong…and I don’t even work there?! 😅 Great video tho.
I dont have nothing but emulsion remover and my screen wont wash out need MAJOR help
Great job. Just subscribe! . All I would say for all rookies is when he washed his hands with the power washer it was not on, just pressure from the water line. It can be very dangerous if you wash your hand with the pressure washing RUNNING
Do you happen to have the info of that pressure washer you have on hand?
Yea visit theprintlife.com and visit my amazon store, you can find it from that pagr.
Where do get the pink stuff?
ccidom.com use the code theprintlife20 for 20% off
I would think the pink stuff will break down the screen much faster.. its like a grit.
Phillip - a little abrasion isn't bad for a screen. Actually helps hold the emulsion a little better. By the time that grit hurts the screen, prolly means you should have had it remeshed already. :)
it is a bit gritty, but it dose not seem to have any adverse affects on mesh longevity.
Hey Cam, remember the homeless guy you mentioned in one of your recent videos? He could be your screen clean man, - a win win for both he and you. Worth considering. Cheers!
What kind of scrubbers do you use?
I prefer the red scub pads, but blue in a pinch the blue one sometime leave little particles on the mesh it washes right of but its annoying, red is better.
#PrintFam
Hey man quick question what brand or name of ink do you use for shirts. I want to buy ink but I don’t know which one to buy ? Thank you 🙏🏽
They are all good, I use wilflex
Thank you
what chemical you put to reclaim the screen
We use Supra from easyway
@@ThePrintLife thank you very much..
@1:15 "OVERVEIW"????

Gloves gloves gloves brooooo
