Nothing will ever beat watching an academy player grow into a star and in the next few years I am predicting we're going to see more than we have for a long time. Garnacho and Mainoo are only the tip of the iceberg.
In regards to our youth academy players what we as Manchester United fans must be is patient because there is a lot of talent coming through the academy so the future is bright. Patience and support from us fans is crucial for their development. Great video as always 👍
Who are your top 5 prospects in our academy we can look out for in the next 1-4 years
@MichaelNoble-fo4lq ..
My next 4 academy to come thru should be Gore. Amass. Fletcher and Lacey...
Right now U18 are on fire...abyome could make the step up. Kwambala was solid
Feels more and more everyday that we're going back to the Busby babes and class of 92 vibes. Really happy to see that.
Ah yes, I am glad that United fans still cherish the indelible contributions of the former Liverpool and Man City captain. After all, he built the club brick by brick in the post-war era.
No one seems to be giving ETH any credit for how well he's managed the youth players
No they critize him for letting the likes of Iqbal Alvaro Pellistri go and they are doing nothing
But he could do more… Amad needs games
@@civildiscourse7626 if he was good enough like Mainoo and Garnacho he'd get it, end of
@@richyclubsport5155 to be fair he probably is, Ten Hag said himself Amad isn’t getting the time he deserves, he shows quality in training but he has his favourites just like every manager.
@@richyclubsport5155 ETH thinks mctominay is good enough… so your point? 😂
I am really really excited for Kambwala, more than anyone honestly. What a fantastic defender he can be!!!
Big Willy from the Congo 🇨🇩. He was exceptional last night👏🏾🔥
Garnacho. ✅️
Mainoo. ✅️
Kambwala. ✅️
Forson. ✅️
Harry Amass. ⏳️
Ogunneye. ⏳️
Shea Lacey. 🔜
Mantato. 🔜
Amir Ibragimov. 🔜
Love how Erik ten Hag is giving youth a chance...❤
Is that from someone tweet
More encouraging reasons to keep ETH and not interrupt this process.
Oyedele, Williams etc
Dan Gore
Ten Hag is well known to have really good eyes on youth players .
Jean-Clair Todibo along side Willy Kambwala --- the french connection !!
Martinez is fairly young
@@justusnetanyahu4871No reason we can't have all three at the club.
We need at least 4 CBs total that can all play a high line, assuming of course that's how the club wants to play.
Nah, they're both RCB
Our youth are the future of the club , the lads that have come through already…. then you look at the u18s man do they play football…. the future s bright …. Support ETH
If just two or three of the youngsters who played in the 9-1 thrashing of Liverpool make it going forward, it will save Ineos a fortune going forward
Man i love your channel because everywhere you see in social media is negative things about the club, the team and the players. Yes its been a rough year but the fact you keep spreading positiveness and hope for the future, makes your channel my favourite about Manchester United. Keep the love for this club.
Even though ten hag has been questionable this season you can't ignore what he's done to our acedamy and he's made youngsters into main team players
And they are playing better that senior player
I was imagining just the other day, it would be soo dope to have atleast 2 youth graduates promoted every season
Mainoo, Hojlund, Garnacho, Amad, Kambwala, Gore, Lacey, Amass, Ibragimov, Jack Fletcher among others we've got some incredible talent in our ranks that we can build around that could also save us alot of money. They just need to be developed be given oppertunities & we do exactly that. Whether Ten Hag is the right manager long term is anyone's guess but either way our youth is the way forward. It's what we do who we are as a club
The thing is Ten Hag is probably the best manager to bring those youngsters up to the first team.
@@LeeTAZ-sl7de That's one of the reasons why we should keep Ten Hag. Let him coach these players knowing he's got a proper footballing structure above him so his sole focus is coaching
Højlund not saving us any money mate ;)
@@Hehejajanejnej A stupid pointless comment man. Fact is Hojlund is a massive part of our long term future to build around
@@chrissilvester5663If we sign decent striker in the summer Rasmus could fined it hard to get a game , he needs to improve big time.
ETH is building a team of academy like he did with Ajax and this is what we wanted to see. The process will take time
Waaat tym he needs to start all young players now ...this veterans ain't doin nothing wonder why he keeps playing them
Maxi Oyedele and Habeeb Ongunneye look promising💥
So true
What're their positions
@@K_0106 Maxi is a midfielder and Habeeb a right back
@@Nasseh_K have u been watching them a lot? What type of midfielder is Maxi
@@K_0106 Mostly plays as an 8. He is really good at carrying the ball. Good at tackling, and is really press resistant
I LOVE THIS NEW GENERATION SAM ❤
There cannot be a future without a manager that brings these guys thru. i am worried that if we replace the manager he won't be as good as eth has been in doing this.
Not true, we replaced lvg and he brought though even more young players
@@civildiscourse7626So let’s not make the same mistake again. LvG would’ve done wonders if he had gotten the time. EtH will do the same.
@@civildiscourse7626yeah, give me one name of those "young players" Youre talking about who has the real qualities to become the core of United, at least under Eric Ten Hag you could see that so far Mainoo and Garnacho has that qualities to become the cores of this team
@@Lusius-Lee lvg brought through rashford for one, but he also played many kids who went on to not do anything big in their careers… which shows that he was even more brave because he was willing to play players who weren’t that good for the sake of dropping underperforming first team players
@@civildiscourse7626 your points just prove that the way Lvg brought academy players are not better than the way that Ten Hag just did, which is because Lvg are "more brave", Ten Hag just brought and play academy players only because the "real qualities" they have
It would be a shame if ten hag wasn’t given a bit more time. He seems to be the right person to oversee the development of these young guys.
I agree. Hopefully ineos. Sees that.
I think we're sleeping on one guy in the U21, Ajlofree. That bloke is really good on the ball and he has a nice ping on him
Willy Kambwala was brilliant yesterday, did you see Statman Daves tweet? 100%Tackles won 100% passes completed 100% Aerial duals won?
the lad was amazing as our 6th choice Center back, And the Ibragimov Bros are a Phenomena? 4bros in the Academy, and one pictured with Khabib the GOAT
training in MMA and is gonna be another star
Ten hag needs time under INEOS. First they should sell underperfomers & those on loan, sign new hungry players then integrate academy players into the first team 👊
This is why I’m in somuch support of Erik Ten Hag and believe with time and help of INEOS he can build a squad of young hungry, determined players, winners
I don’t know why it’s so hard for some of the people in this fanbase to see and understand, when will we stop looking for quick success and start building the right way.
I rarely post comments. This is the most impressive show. I love this. Eric Ten Hag more than deserves a new contract because he is building a team to rock the Premier League for years and years and years. I am not bothered about the current performance, Ten Hag is trying to get the rythm right. Lets support this Manager
Very few if any of the youngsters that have left since Ten Hag has taken over have really done anything since leaving, its been the opersite with the youngsters that have made the step up to the first team.
Kambwala was fast & committed; he made Maguire look Good 😂
He plays like a confident veteran player. It’s his commitment and joy playing for man Utd. His childhood dream.
Love watching your shows, full of facts,no bullshite.
There was a Liverpool counter attack yesterday. Kambwala started sprinting back from the Liverpool box over 30 yards behind Wan Bissaka and he arrived back in our box over ten yards in front of Wan Bissaka. say no more. Ps:- no one is talking about the striker Ethan Wheatley. he's a cold blooded beast.
True
And that was all mentality/effort. Because even if Kambwala is faster than AWB he's not that much faster.
Such mentality is something new signings or youth players almost always bring with them. And it is one of the reasons it's so important to keep bringing in new players and moving anyone other than top performers on before their contract runs out.
@@lucasvanwijngaarden670 Hunger and commitment.
Thank you for this. I can now hope. I wasn't seeing it before until I watched this😊
Our youngsters are so lovable, man. Willy has been really impressive. Hopefully they continue to develop and also take on leadership roles. It’s their team now.
Very professional, well researched content Sam. A diehard United supporter. Good lad keep it up, Anton Tun Wells!
One reason I'd back ETH is youth development has been impressive and integration has been great
I love to watch Ashton Missin. With honest hard work, he will be a top player. The Silent One.
Wish Armas is given a chance this season
It all starts on the bench but I think we might see him in preseason
I love watching young lads playing into the first team
But I'm kinda scared with garnacho's playing time..
What a great upbeat video. Lots of info too. Thankyou.
Harry Amass, and Jack Fletcher are very interesting and have guge potential
We're lucky that out of everything that's wrong with United, our academy is still top class
Dan Gore🔥👌
he really looked great in the Palace game, I was hoping to see more this season. looked like a Foden clone to me.
The future is looking bright for united. Great video Sam
I agree with you Sam, really excited to see The future
Like always say, keep ETH for 2 more years, he wins the league.
I am really happy for man utd future already
I can't wait for the future😍😍
Spot on as usual Sam 👍
All the credit goes to ETH!
The future is bright 💚💛
Love your show today
Amir Ibragimov and Shea Lacey will sniff the first team next season
Great video... Positivity!
Yes, I am glad that United fans still cherish the indelible contributions of the former Liverpool and Man City captain. After all, he built the club brick by brick in the post-war era.
class of 22
Man on the match for Kambwala?!
Maybe we are a little bit getting carried away :D. I'm not saying he didn't play well, he did. And we certainly appreciated his enthusiasm and demonstrated passion.
But there has been a lot of young defenders playing for ManUtd in the past. Remember Brandon Williams? He's now out on loan...
About Mainoo, I just really hope he is not going to be like Renato Sanches, and more like Paul Scholes...
Garnacho confirmed his 2nd season and wow! he has improved a lot! His controls are much much better, he saved some seconds in the way he positions himself. Everything in his game got finetuned. So for the moment, he's the only confirmed superstar.
Even Garnacho has plenty of things he can still improve on. But he's the only one that has been around the squad for long enough to really prove himself.
Mainoo is looking class every time he steps on the pitch but it's still early days.
Kambwala and Amad have shown glimpses when they got the opportunity but it's far too soon to judge them.
@@lucasvanwijngaarden670 Yeah, my fear with Mainoo is about what happened to Renato Sanches. Same, at 18, he was playing like an experienced player and got quickly a spot in the Portugal squad (and even played for Euro if I remember well).
Then the season after, he completely vanished.
But normally, with ETH around, it should be fine.
@ I think Mainoo has shown enough already that a new manager will still play him. Except if they bring their own favorite player with them or something like that.
But keeping Ten Hag will defenitely benefit all our young stars.
I fuckin love the way we’re playing at the moment..it’s got everything and then some! just love it..sod the results..😁
The Power of youth ❤📣🔰 GGMNU
Alvaro would have been perfect for LB considering we have to play awb there now.
Sam is spot on.. Wheatley is an outstanding prospect.
The fact that mainoo is old news is crazy he just started playing in December
Don't think we will ever see the class of 92 again but as this video shows there is a good chance that at least 2 or 3 more young players make it into first team soon
Exciting ❤
Thanks for the positivity Sam, so easy to be depressed right now
I don't want to see Bruno Fernandes Rashford mctominay shaw lindelof etc in next 1 year..at United. I want New players plus our academy players working n fighting hard n passionately for the badge. No players who bring toxicity should be kept at United. Then and only then these players will improve n have success..
For weeks i was shocked every time Ten Hag picked Evans ahead of Kambwala, the kid is more than ready and can play higher cause unlike Maguire and Lindelof he has the pace.
Wonder how long before Real Madrid comes knocking for Garnacho.
They are scouting him already.
@@robertnegron9706 I know. They haven't made an offer yet.
This is what Sir did by class of Gary Neville, Phil Neville, David Beckham, Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt. And Furguson also struggled at the beginning. I can see Our future is very bright....
Let’s trust in ETH, even though I’m a bit disappointed in not giving chance to Brandon Williams.. I believe in the way he is slowly giving the other lads chance..
❤️🔥
Anyone else who thought for a second that was Nkunku?
We need speed, a team of fast players 👊🏼
I am really puzzled about amad diallo. He is so good every time he is on pitch, yet ten hag does not pick him. Why not? He could be one of the breakouts
If he was good enough he would, facts, Mainoo Garnacho and now Willie shows it, Amad obviously doesn't convince Ten Hag like Pellistri Iqbal Alvaro and others, proven right done nothing on loan and Iqbal sale
@@richyclubsport5155but amad had a great spell on loan at Sunderland..
Amad is number 4 in the pecking order of wingers we have in the squad plus he was injured pre season.
If Rashford is out injured he moves upto number 3.
Sometimes players just have to be patient, hopefully ETH uses him a bit more before the end of the season and he takes his chance.
Lower down the ages, Wayne Rooneys son Kai is banging in the goals and assists.
Getting back to the roots of the Busby way
Eric ten hag should stay
He is the best manager for man united
Harry Ammas should be in the first team hes just what we need .
He has skill a good football brain. He's like Shaw .
ETH knows how important these young players are to the future of the first team.
I'm convinced kambwala is our best fit defender.
So .any years since we've had a Central defender break through with so much potential , exciting times ahead, we'll soon have a complete core of players who understand what it means to be utd, no more sulkers
Rashford, Lingard, Sancho, Morrison, Jones ..... ?
We need a long term number 6
agreed. joao neves? amadou onana?
ETH Fledglings. Keep the faith guys! We just need to clear the crap and get the sporting director in.. ETH can't be blame for these players.. there will be flop signings as with any manager but the new CEO, org structure and the Sporting director should help.
Keeping close tab on Harry Amass, Shea Lacey & Amir Ibragimov.
And someone out there without this knowledge is busy shouting Ten Hag out.
Trust the process 🔴GGMU
Me to I’m excited just look at the youth coming up playing ten hag football 😊
Bringing in nurtured prospects is the best way to provide depth that suits the system. That is specifically what has collapsed our defence this season, incompatible depth has meant Ten Hag has had to diminish the integrity original system to makeshift something that players like Maguire can play in. As a result our structure collapses. But our young boys are malleable, they can be developed to suit a system preemptively, then when a place opens up they can step into it having played the system at U-18 level and either rise to the occasion or not, because they know the structure and system it then comes down to only readiness.
Kambwalla did well but Bruno was amazing for us especially towards the end of the game where he put in a lot of defensive efforts that were very decisive.
harry amass will be a starting left back in the next 2 years, shea lacey and ibragimov could be some of our best players. I think this summer is so important at ensuring these players can break through. Bring in a young centre back as we are lacking there. A 23-28 year old defensive midfielder until fitzgerald is ready. Bring in some good young players who can go into that u23s team and can go up to the first team in the next year and a half. If we do that we are set for the next 5 years.
What Sam needs to deep dive on is how much influence ETH has around the club in the youth teams etc. What changes he made, what conversations he has because that kind of coverage is important to show hes moulding the youngsters for the first team like Fergie did with Giggs and Class of 92.
Future is exciting if we keep Ten Hag or bring in a coach that knows how to manage youngsters! Thats why we need to keep ETH at least another season!
The kids will bench the senior players very soon just as garnacho has done to rashford and mainoo with eriksen .Amas will overtake shaw if luke shaw continues with this injury madness
Had Menghi and Taunzebe not been injury prone.. we wud not have seen maguire or evans this season. Menghi has been immense for luton
❤
Did you miss Maxi Oyedele and Habeeb Ogunneye? I think these are also the brightest prospects and should be making their debut soon..
The Youth System is playing how Ten Hag wants to play... so it'll make it easier for the youths to adapt to his system when put in the first team...
I submit that there are 5 ball playing players in this current MANU squad: Kobie; Mount; Garnacho; Martinez and Anthony; yes Anthony. The rest which are “senior” and influential are not ball playing. Here is the problem. Please do your analysis; your channel is good on this.
Just thinking out loud, what might be the reason for not play A. Diallo after a stellar performance against a strong team in a crucial match even as a sub? Thank. Great Podcast.
I was just thinking this myself this morning, ETH has been doing a great job with the youth. I was a bit pissed myself that we sold so many youth players past year, but thinking about it now it was probably necessary.
Like in the previous years we just held on to youth players for years and years and they never quite made it into the first team, so they were kind of in limbo, the likes of Gomez, Chong, Tuanzabe, etc, and we were thinking _"they just need time, they'll come good",_ and maybe Ole was too emotionally attached to sell them, and the board were too clueless to overrule him.
But ETH seems to be more ruthless about it, and he seems to have a good eye for quality young players, and knows if they are good enough or not.
love this, but does it not show that pre ten hag , good stuff was happening?
Ten Hag in. These young ones will be waking Utd back up.
Joao neves would give M.U a better chance of being in the top 4 next season
Ten hag needs to give amass, oyedele and lacey a chance this season. Ineos should buy youth as talents will join us
I'm sure many youngsters will get their chances for Man United against Rosenborg in July! Glad I got tickets!
I think Forson will be next. And after that Amass because of our LB problems. And a midfielder after that.
I feel ETH rebuild is really happening. He is doing what he said he would. Have patience M.U fans.
The future is looking bright! UP THE MANCS ❤️ 🤍 🖤.
