ETH's best signing by a country mile and arguably his only decent signing it's just a shame he's missed so many games this season. Hojlund still has time but he needs to work hard on his hold up play, ball retention and positional intelligence.

Things ETH has had to deal with: CR7, Sancho, Greenwood, no starting CB pairing since forever, new ownership and his tactics have created countless goal scoring opportunities. Whether our team can finish those is on them, not him. He can't pass or shoot.

@@WayynePain Your one of those fans who thinks every manager is Ferguson over time. THEY ARE NOT. STEVE BRUCE COULD GET A NEW LIFE TIME TO COACH AND HE STILL WOULDN'T ACHEIEVE AS MUCH. There are LEVELS TO THIS and TEN HAG has proven too man times, he is not at that LEVEL.
Manager appointments are the MOST IMPORTANT SIGNING OF ANY CLUB. Get it right and you could win the league or UCL. Get it wrong and you find yourself in a relegation battle like Villa did with Steven Gerrard. Villa went from Relegation candidates to European pedigree in 1 season with a QUALITY MANAGER LIKE EMERY.
Now there in TOP 4 with him barely making changes to Villa's team as a whole. He might not get ALL his signings almost perfect like Pep or Klopp but his philosophy and tactics make BAD PLAYERS look decent, good players better and good players WORLD CLASS. Ten Hag does the OPPOSITE. We get WORLD CLASS PLAYERS and make them look like trash every season.
We NEED TUCHEL, OR FLICK OR ZIDANE of any Manager with a UCL or major European Title in the last decade instead. Hell I would LOVE JOSE BACK AT THIS POINT. Cuz in hindsight, we should have NEVER SACKED HIM FOR POGBA IN THE FIRST PLACE!
You lot didn't defend Moyes, LVG, Jose or even Ole like this. WHY ETH?? What has he done for us that makes you lot so hell bent??? He has been our WORST MANAGER POST FERGIE AND HAS BROKEN THE WORST RECORDS THUS FAR! SO WHY KEEP A MAN THAT CLUELESS AND BLAME THE PLAYERS?

Hate to say it but I agree with Gary. Simple. ETH is just as good as the shortlist of new managers, If not better in some areas. What’s the point of getting a new Average manager and wasting another 3 years? We know ETH short cummings and in a strange way It will put Inios on trial to see how capable they are of running a top club. If ETH can’t succeed with Inios backing then sack him for a BETTER coach, not just an also ran.

The reason he wants everyone back in the office is the same reason so many offices are adopting hybrid approaches now
Working from home has its advantages and covid if anything proved that it's a good methodology; but working from home you can't build the kinds of relationships with your coworkers that drives real teamwork. I'm forced to work from home right now because we have a client with shitty network rules, and every day I wish I could work from the office and be around my coworkers. You work at a desk next to someone for 8 hours a day 5 days a week and that person becomes your friend over time, friends are easier to talk to than acquaintances; it's easier to have the difficult conversations that drive real growth in a business.
It's not about having people in a place where someone can micromanage them; it's about fostering teamwork and turning our club into a team from the bottom up

Same structure with squad players can only work when we have comparable level between first team and squad players. Proactive football with squad players dont work. ETH had to adjust his proactive football esp in the reality of so many injured players. Its not advisable to throw in youth in bad times, but playing Casemiro and Evans instead of youth does not make sense and its not forward looking. Using Amad instead of Anthony, keep on playing Rashford despite his off form, not plugging the gaping hole in midfield during transition play are just hara-kiri committed repeatedly to dwindle the team confidence.

Ten Hag:"Truthfully, I did not bring my ID with me as I didn't think there was any need to. I am Erik ten Hag, Manager of Manchester United”.
Cashier: "Yes, I know who you are, but with all the regulations and monitoring of the banks because of impostors and forgers and requirements of the legislation, etc., I must insist on seeing ID."
Ten Hag: Just ask anyone here at the bank who I am and they will tell you. Everybody knows who I am."
Cashier: "I am sorry, Mr Hag but these are the bank rules and I must follow them."
Ten Hag:"Come on please, I am urging you, please cash this cheque."
Cashier: "Look sir, here is an example of what we can do. One day, Tiger Woods came into the bank without ID. To prove he was Tiger Woods he pulled out his putter and made a beautiful shot across the bank into a cup. With that shot we knew him to be Tiger Woods and cashed his cheque."
"Another time, Andre Agassi came in without ID. He pulled out his tennis racket and made a fabulous shot where the tennis ball landed in my cup. With that shot we cashed his cheque. So, sir, what can you do to prove that it is you and only you?"
Erik stands there thinking and thinking and finally says, "Honestly, my mind is a total blank...there is nothing that comes to my mind. I can't think of a single thing. I have absolutely no idea what to do. I don't have a clue."
Cashier: "Will that be large or small notes , Mr Ten Hag?”

I feel like Ten Hag should just go the psycological route at the end of the season. Say to the first team players thatbthe youth are knocking on your door, so much so I am dropping you in favour of them. They impress they have a chance. Because what i see is a group of players that is not in fear of being dropped.

We have to start selling players that ETH wanted and bought. He thought he can do the transfer targets without a scouting system (that is to me is non-existent).

Familiarity. It is the reason why Ten Hag can’t be United’s manager. All his players he brought in, that has been the key word.
