I get it that he's a lot better with luke Shaw because he helps by making runs and opens some space up for him but still he offers nothing defensively and seems very disinterested. He doesn't seem explosive anymore he's very lack lustre and his decision making is very bad as is garnachos
People say its OK for garnacho bcuz he's young but for me that's not an excuse especially when you're playing football for years but still you can atleast say that garna has time on his side while rashford should be our most consistent and leader type of player
Play Rashy on the right wing. He has a lethal shot and can do that easier from the right wing, where he is more direct. On the left, he must cut inside, and defenses know this and double and triple up. On the right, he can tap outside for space to shoot.
@@praisephillip3407 True - shaw helps with overlapping runs, to drag defenses to the left, so he can cut inside. But if if you look at his highlights, many 1v1 goals actually also come from the right side.
He only shows this form when he’s close to a contract renewal. Nothing we haven’t seen before…Exceptional on his day, but overall just a moments player

They should play Rashford on the RW, not the LW. Teams are doubling up on him, and he lacks the 1v1 dribbling and control to create chances from nothing. He is most lethal when he is given space to create. By attacking the right wing, he can attack the end line and stretch defensive lines when he isn't aiming to shoot. Thsi creates more dynamic play. Also, he can be more direct and shoot from the right wing, like he did against Barcelona and other highlights in this video.
Rashford is a finisher, not a 1v1 creator. He's an attacker most lethal in behind the defense, or when given space to shoot. From the right wing, he can get separation when he attacks the central-right lane and touch outwards a bit for an open shooting chance, whereas on the left wing, he is forced to cut inside, which teams can nullify with 2nd and 3rd defenders. On the right, he can create space against his defender and teams can't double up.
