When you installed the shift bypass did it cause the abs and TC lights to come on???

No, those were on since the day I bought the car.

Does it damage the transmission if you have it on a long period of time that’s my biggest concern to produce damage to transmission

No, it just disables the car from forcing the transmission to go from 1st to 4th. Most cars don’t have it.
