saw them twice. never forget it. right before the 1st tune, Brian says "well, we're here, nothin' left to do but a rock 'n' roll show", to wild applause. and rock they did! best kept secret in Missouri. wildly underrated.

@@gviruscalls7089 I have a theory that on the studio version, they left in(on purpose) an out of tune guitar solo.I love this tune ! but Brian is out of tune as he tears into the solo. I blast it out every once in a while still! I met Brian at TT the BEARS about 12 years ago (small venues are the place to talk to performers)and told him what a talented songwriter he is. he just about blushed. rock on!

@@jamesg8246 maybe in a couple years, Brian Henneman will feel like going out and playing some shows again with the boys. Not a re-start, and not a silly classic rock band’s reunion tour to cash in, but for the love of it. It’s possible in 2-3 years, being able to play out with those guys again will seem urgent. I was lucky to see them a good number of times between 1998 through 2018. As great as the two better known bands that sprung from Uncle Tupelo were/are, I’d choose their guitar tech’s band over both if I could only pick one. I was set to them again in late March 2020 and of course like everyone did, they had to cancel. You always think you’ll get another chance. We’ll see. I’m digging into their last couple albums and finding a lot to enjoy. They were as real a band as there come and put most to shame with their songwriting and chops and down to earth good humor.
