    Breaker bar and 6-point socket are the only way to go!

    First, let me say, thank you for presenting a video on this subject. I'm sure it has helped many novice mechanics. However, I see you have some very intelligent viewers and commenters. I realize most people don't own pneumatic lifts, but if you can, rent a bay or something, this job should really only be performed as it was designed, a lift. With a lift you will have the space required to use proper tools such as breaker bars and torch meters. Also, always replace the crush washers with new ones and torch to standard. Finally, be sure to only use the weight oils prescribed in the owner's manual. Take care now and keep up the good work. This is a great forum to learn new things from others, at no cost! Take care. :)

    What if I cannot find the transfer case on my 2017 2wd Tacoma? Do 2wd vehicles have a transfer case?

    • @JimBurch
      @JimBurch Před 5 lety +1

      2WD does not have a transfer case. Only 4WD (transfers power from 2WD to 4WD)

    • @sonovabeach
      @sonovabeach Před 4 lety

      If you don't know that, you should just put the wrench down and carefully step away.
