Making Articulated Hands for Springtrap
Vložit
- čas přidán 16. 05. 2024
- This was one of the biggest challenges of my Springtrap cosplay build, making huge working fingers on a big hand. I’m pretty satisfied with the results and thanks to Coscom Cosplay Supply for sending me their thibra they are going to last for a very long time!
I’ll try my best to answer any questions in the comments about these, since they’re a pretty complex build

Bro I've seen a lot of cosplayers but I never seen one as talented as you. Keep up the good work
Exactly. He's the God of Fnaf Cosplay now.
Agreed
Aye that be true mates
I concur
Yea
Legitimately the only costume that scares the hell out of me when viewing it online. This is the best cosplay imo
It ain’t an opinion
I was just wondering where is the Articulated Hand video, and suddenly this video appears. Coicendence Yes.
Hello again
There are no coincidences
This will be great for my Monty cosplay
make me wonder if the actual springlock suit had articulated hands so the customer or kids cant see the persons hands cause well, the animatronics hand is way bigger then a human hand xD
Most likely so
That means springtrap forgot how to use his normal fingers XD
Dude, your cosplays are super dope! All that work really pays off since we're all amazed afterwards! Your cosplays are so realistic too! Thanks for all the work you put in
Imagine a fnaf movie with this
Yes
They're gonna give him a call. I tell you that.
This aged well
October 27... 2 years since your comment, the fnaf movie will be a reality for us
Can you do a video on how you get in and out of the springtrap suit?
This will work well for my Springbonnie cosplay. Looks absolutely sick!
Question: how do you move the wires in the glove to move the fingers? Do you have to pull the wires? Or is the a way to connect the wires to you’re hand?
Thats a part I forgot to record, yeah I made finger caps I attached the wire to
@@DaRegularSauce I see, I just thought that it would be hard to bend your hand while it’s inside the glove
you attach a ring to the wire
@@DaRegularSauce what is thibra
@@carnage9184 It is a type of thermo plastic
Bro took getting springlocked to a whole new level
Spring trap is my favorite animatronic William Aston so it’s so cool that you can make this stuff and it inspires me
Now I know how to create articulated hands, it’s just a shame I need to spare my polymer clay and wire for a college project
Good job! I will use this design for the hands of a movie-accurate Zurg (Lightyear) cosplay in the future!
You doing amazing job dude! Dont give up!
4:03 lol nice shirt
If you end up making a pre-springlocked springbonnie suit again, I can make you a custom wooden knife to go with it if you want.
This is pretty awsome I’m actually going to try to do this keep up the good work!!!
Thank you for sharing all the info in your videos. I am trying to find an entry point to this hobby and your videos help!!!
I have a question: how does it actually stay on your hand? what's keeping it in place while you move your fingers to control it?
Probably attached to arm with something and the end of the arm piece could have something there that makes it a tight fit
late respond but um pretty sure the the middle line stick is the bar hand or it tight squeezing the hand enough it keep in place when hes not using the finger or when is using it
Dis dope
Let’s get this man to 1 mil
Bruh this is the most realistic cosplay I've ever seen
Scott Cawthon needs to hire you for the movie
Mad respect
Why make a hand when you can make an actual spring lock suit, one “accident” later and you’re the real thing
*SpringTrap Jumpscare
You*
when i first saw the costume this is how i thought the hands worked!! i cant believe i was right 😭
If we have this guy bulding the fnaf animatronic in the movie...guy! The Movie will be Perfect!
wait, if he's got the most realistic springrtap cosplay, is this what afton designed?
The spring Bonnie suit did not use that type of hand, instead it was more like a glove.
Exelent bro
now i want to do this stuff
The IRL William Afton. The true founder of Afton Robotics.
That’s cool!
Imagine a fnaf movie with those
This gonna be helpful for my Molten Freddy cosplay I'm planning. Probably won't look as good as your cosplays though ;-;
That's ok. Nobody can beat The God Of Fnaf Cosplay
@@Terrox_ Well maybe someone has and they just dont like being online and stuff
@@bitbreaker_creator idk
That's better than the springtrap showed in the movie's trailer
Springbonnie was in the trailer
When I begin my Springtrap Costume (hopefully today), I’ll be starting with the hands, as it’s better to get the hard part out of the way.
Also can I ask, how did you make the Endoskeleton Chunks for the fingers? I’m a little confused about it
At what size should the head template be printed?
That sonic shirt is got me
SpringTrap is Olive-Color
Hey, we have a Henry in real life
Woah
Mom. . . get my wallet, a lot of foam and wires. . . we making a suit!
I’m a huge fan of your work and I was wondering if you could do a tutorial on how to make four fingered hands like glam rock Bonnie cause I’m planning on making a glam rock Bonnie cosplay and I need to know how to make the hands for the cosplay when ever I get working on it I will send you photos if I can. Thanks take care and your family.
What did you use for the finger joints?
My brain broke from the amazingness. Last thought I have is h a n d
I seriously would pay you for a springtrap head and hands how muc
That one downvote has got to be a accidental wrong click
Hey man, you should make more fnaf costumes and sell them later for money.
Bro you should make more fnaf costumes and sell them later for money
Ik you probably won’t see this, but HOW did you connect the arms and the torso? And I don’t remember seeing you build the torso or arms on the tutorial
late respond but there a black vent kind of tube holding the arms and torso on the original build
Does anyone know what the material used for the fingers is called? And where can I get it?
@@KOAlleyCatwhat are the toggle bolts attached to? I know they have EVA foam around them but I don’t know what the “bones” of each finger are
@@moosegoosegamer the chunks of black are EVA foam, the toggle bolts are glued in between each foam piece, then he glued small pieces of tiny PVC pipe to string the wire through. Worbla/thebra/the thermoplastic is then used to secure the pieces. Think of the toggle bolts as finger joints, and the EVA foam as the phalanges. The worbla is just used to secure everything to each other
is there something diffrent than toggle bolt i can use?
So can Springtrap do a middle finger
*most likely yes.*
Yes
What did you use for the joints
Dat one dislike should be scooped right now...
Did you put foam in under the green cloth?
Question, this is a bigger hand than your own, is there a ratio problem with the strings when you close your own hand? How do you make sure that when you make a fit, the prop also closes completely?
you juat measure and make it fit with the stick foam in the middle on the palm and no because the pvc pipe tube are orgainzing the string to move
and it is bigger than your own hand as seen in the game
God
Do you have a template of it?
Show me how to make Fazcoin pleeeaasse!
I think it 3D printed painted
What are the joints in the fingers
Can we buy these?
Is that even safe to wear
I dont know if you will answer, but how much the cosplay cost to you?
how did springtrap die
Uhh…
… He didnt :)
@@dr_mafarioyt4313 he always comes back
Do you know Afton family?
Can you grab someth7ng with that hand?
light object probaly
@@llama_stone Well that depends on the grip strength
dude your website dose not work
