I know someone with schizophrenia, and I fee for him. It's been incredibly heartbreaking. He truly hears my voice saying things like, "You're gay" and "I'm going to make you gay." I've never said anything like that. Sometimes he looks at me says my name and says, "I'm not gay" or "You're not going to make me gay." Last week, he said, "Let's make peace, please. Don't make me go out with him." It makes me cry. I turn to these videos to help me understand :(

There's a man who lives in my town. I think he lives outside. He gets foodstamps because I've seen him go to the grocery store and purchase food with them. He doesn't work. He just walks all around town all day every day with a hiking backpack. If you speak to him, he won't respond. When people have tried to force him to interact, he becomes hostile and violent and doesn't make any sense. He keeps to himself and every once in a while you'll see him having a conversation with himself but he immediately stops talking if he notices someone is paying attention. Please learn about metabolic and Orthomolecular psychiatry! Dr. Chris Palmer is a Harvard psychiatrist that has successfully put most of his schizophrenic patients into full remission with little or no meds. His new book is called Brain Energy which explains the role that mitochondria and metabolic health have in even the most serious mental health issues. There is also Dr. Daniel Amen who has many Amen Clinics and one of his many excellent books to read is “The End Of Mental Illness”
Know there is scientifically proven alternative help either with meds or without available so educate yourself nor have someone help you to do so and stay hopeful!

It has been used for 50 years to treat medicine resistant epilepsy and there have been promising studies done on it’s use for schizophrenia in the past decade. There are people with bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and clinical depression who are in complete remission because of this diet. If you listen to some of these symptoms, it’s almost like social media trains us into schizophrenic behaviours. It is one factor of many, course. With social media you can laugh hysterically to something of augumented/ virtual reality. You can hear audio and see things that aren’t really there. You are isolated, whether you are by yourself or not. Your attention span goes down and it’s hard to plan things and focus on real life.

I'm so glad you're doing much better!😮💖 I've been involved in the schizophrenic community since a schizophrenic addicted to meth moved in below me. He's been evicted because he screams almost constantly. Hes been so damaging to the mental health of my neighbors and me and he stalks my other female neighbor and me. He has very little lucid moments, his parents are in their 80's and burnt out. It's one of the saddest things I've seen. When ever I see success stories here I'm so happy from the very bottom of my heart. Like many he believes the meth helps him. He's 59 and I wonder if he'll give up the meth and have his meds regulated and live out a good and peaceful life💖💖

I spent 15yrs of my life believing i was a schizo and 2yrs taking medicines for this illness, by the time I was 26 I wanted to end my life and then something me stopped the violence.. I wondered who it was then, but then I didn't go through it I was sent to the pyschward and I didn't remember what had happened to me but I'm 32 now and I've been reading and listening to the Bible since I was 29yrs of age but I will mention that soon so in that time when I was 26 I think I felt the holy spirit in that situation where I was going to take my life, He stopped me from wrongfully taking the gift He gave to me. I couldn't explain it until I was 29 when covid began and it hit me in 2022 around January I got hit with covid 19 and it put me in a coma for 2 weeks and I saw a lot of things that happening today now and I heard this voice in the coma and that scared me, but I also saw my loved ones flashing through my mind. I remember hearing from the darkness of the deep and He said "Not Yet" in a loud whispering Gentle voice but it was a deep voice, man I've never would have known until I began reading the Bible and taking notes but I don't believe in this Schizophrenia anymore because 1. The drugs were ruining my brain function and 2. When I began talking to God about my problems and he listened and it is said that God works through you and I understood Him. Those voices you hear are just you allowing the enemy to enter your Kingdom (Mind & Heart) and twist your thoughts into something bad, I then started to think of them as spiritual attacks from the enemy and when I read books like proverbs and psalms it felt like I was equipping his Armor and then I found the sword Matthew 5:3-14 whew I still need to find the others but talking to strangers who need to escape this world's prison and start socializing more soon we won't have access to the internet and our money won't matter anymore yall need to pick up the sword too if you want to wake up again.

During those times, his delusions could range from the plausible "a bird got inside the house" to the very much impossible "everyone I ever knew are witches who perform dark spells on me to get inside my head". One time, he found a dead rooster in his backyard (he lived near the countryside back then and lots of neighbours had farm animals) and he accused my mother of having placed it there as a part of a ritual or something. He got very aggressive and violent at times during these low points. Those were horrible times. I'm so glad he's much better right now even if the journey to get here was extremely difficult.

The negative symptoms are just one part of Schizophrenia. They do sound similar to some signs of autism. Overall they are very different disorders though.

@@gigahorse1475 I think the similarities are not just on the outside. I remember reading a paper comparing the brain activity in people with schizophrenia or autism, and most brain regions displayed a similar pattern of increased or decreased activity. There were some differences, of course, and the people with schizophrenia had a bigger increase or decrease in brain activity than the people with autism. I started believing in God and I noticed that these states of delusions cannot always be easily controlled or within grasp of understanding... But God can help anyone who asks Him, and if they are mindful and repent, and do not give in to such thoughts, they will be saved. But whoever gives in to evil thoughts, and whoever is delusional, if they give into their delusions, it only becomes worse and they fall into a state of great confusion.
I've seen many degrees of this and some people cannot see at all and are very well mannered, but lacking the intelligence it seems.. while others have the ability to see, but lack manners and even with their able intelligence, they lack compassion and composure.
I myself feel as if I don't know the mind well. Not well enough to speak on it. But if you do have good thoughts, you will be at peace with God, and if you have bad thoughts☝️, well then you become evil and suffer

You did not even go to the degree of mentioning that good thoughts cause pleasure and bad thoughts create suffering. In no way did you respond to me at all. You made a cynical judgement and I think you should focus on the promise God has in store for, which is good, rather than make immature comments on how you clearly don't see that God is in every religion.
Good is God, and He gave you water and a mind to think, and a body that is able, and here you believe. But what do you believe? Are you thankful for these things, or do you walk with the man? The man is the individual who does monotonous tasks, has general basic functions like interpretation of your surroundings shape and movement, or how to walk, basic functions.. but you, you're the freewill that stretches beyond that into your inner voice. The one that is real personal. If you do not get your mind on a similar path to God's thinking, and genuinely repent, then you are prescribing yourself self destruction of the conscious soul.
You can become too absorbed into the idea of God, that you become delusional. Extreme religions are not Christlike. Islam is not Christlike. Just be good to others and follow God. This is what Jesus taught us, mercy and faith.🌠☝️

My mother has schizophrenia so I am more likely to get the disease as well and when me and my mother catched some infection, her schizophrenia flared up again and I got terrible mood shifts, cognitive problems, apathy and a craving for blood which definetely was not normal. I also looked pale and had chronic constipation and abdominal pain and perhaps gallbladder dysfunction. I made an appointment with a psychiatrist/neurologist, but then I got Covid and had to reschedule the appointment and by that time, I already medicated myself using doxycyclin and that basically had all my psycho symptoms disappear but had my Covid symptoms reemerge. The only true diagnoses which I got during all of this was "lymphadenitis mesenteralis" (swollen lymph nodes in the abdomen). The doctors gave me pain medication which I never took.
In the end, all went well for me, even though those 5 monthes were the worst time of my life. My mother has not reached remission till this day though.

I can’t find my comment, but I wanna add I’m not schizophrenic. I’m spiritual, and I questioned the way that western medicine analyzes different diseases even of the mind. So why the behavior might be problematic if there is truth to it, our society may not be caught up to it. an example, a lot of times they hear things and see things that other people don’t, but we have multiple people that not only express document through Auto scientific methods, including machines that those things are physically measurable and they do exist. And so with my mind, things that if you live in a society were most people consistentlyvalue your experience or judgment, it could lead to paranoia or even other types of “”delusions. Basically a vicious cycle.

Next, I'll say don't automatically assume or say guess that he has this specific psychological illness just because of this short video. Judging by what I've read so far in your comment, he seems to be suffering from episodes of psychosis. Yes, psychosis can be triggered by drug use. Also, it is linked to bipolar, schizo-affective disorder, MPD (multiple personality disorder), schizophrenia, and most folks may not agree, but even PTSD (Post-traumatic stress disorder) which is something that not many people think about.
If you can one day try to help him get treatment, then a good thing to do, but if not, try to help with figure out an interest or activity that he may strongly like that doesn't involve weaponry of any sort and see if said interest/activity helps him to naturally focus on that. Now keep in mind, that it may not help immediately. but if he likes whatever activity that you try, then spend some time doing that and takes notes either with pen/pencil and paper or video with your phone/tablet. (AGAIN... NO WEAPONS, NOTHING SHARP!)

Well this makes sense. When my sisters and the neighborhood would play tag and hide and seek with our neighborhood kids, I'd get this uncomfortable case of the giggles where I just couldn't stop laughing and I recalled my sister putting her handover my mouth saying “shut the f up, if you keep laughing ill kill you” noe she didn't mean it in a serious way, it just was something that would happen from time to time and I couldn't explain it. It still does. I'm flat too, no facial expressions til I started my add meds anyway but no hallucinations until I got these meds anyway.. Which its the meds. It's very miniscule when I started them. But is it possible for someone to have other mental health things?
Like I'm bipolar, I suffer anxiety depression but also I have add and maybe that or autistic spectrum.. And these weird delusions but it's not like an invader. It's more like I know my problems will all be solved if or when I get married..(even though I've witnessed my mom and dads marriage together and apart be wrecked. And my sisters) but I have this odd sense of life is like a movie. I know eventually I'll snap out of it. And I'm working really hard keeping it to myself until now. I don't share this with anyone trust me it's embarrassing. I don't have any male friends except my last ex… and in regard to women. I can't have ANH female friends bc a) I don't trust them around my bf.. And I don't trust any of his female friends he did have around him..bc I've seen countless fimovies where girls friends become involved with the friends bf and the heartbreak hurts.. It sucks. Even at the place I go to now for treatment, I see this girl and Guy who went to treatment and met their before. They say that they are talking to eachothwr and she's married with a kid. It's not my business but I totally see what going to happen, all bc it's a plot in a movie that's quite common. That's the similar plot too in movies. This characters meet and bond and then something happens where she reaches out to him and they wregoing to hit it of and ruin her marriage and blah blah. I know people in treatment shouldnt date but it happens. I had an old friend who had a similar thing but she and him were together about three years and then he stopped his meds and it went downhill.
Could this be schitzo? Or some other crap? I got a lot of problems being serious

My wife's two brothers both have all these symptoms and are absolutely scared of me. I have no idea why. No one acts that way around me just them. Their mother and many relatives have schizophrenia.

I don’t agree with the term “seeing or hearing things THAT ARE NOT THERE”. I think what psychotics probably do is falsely interpret that which is there, whether it be in the outside world or in their minds.

I definitely hear things. I remember once I was little and I was running up and down my hall in my house next to my parents doorway I heard somebody call my name. I looked into the room and I saw something there too.

Well I’ve had the outburst of laughter, but it was well after we were all laughing and I’d laugh for about an hour, which really hurts! I’ve also had auditory and visual hallucinations, usually someone hollering or whispering my name and the most common visual hallucination is a tall man cloaked in shadow, with a paper white face and a wide smile, always in my peripheral vision or off in the corner when I’m looking in a mirror… shits not fun and smoking cigarettes and drinking caffeine seem to keep them under

I believe im unworthy of normal people day to day connections. When im at work, i dont speak for pretty much thw whole day unlesss someone speaks to me or i force myself which is almost impossible. Sometimes when negative people are around, they speak in another language and I think they are talking about me althought i dont care much about it, i still think its true.

Damn I knew it. The auditory hallucinations have gotten worse because I have a loud ac unit, now even with it off I hear people talk bad about me. I have learned to identify repetitive phrases in order to help ground myself. I started taking Guanfacine for ADHD inattentive sub type and it made my delusions go from based in theory and the realm of science, now they have become more abstract. But the speech and disorganized movement, eye contact, little to no emotion in the face, laughing at jokes in my head. I make CZcams videos and I notice that my commentary can be boring sometimes because I spend a lot of time isolated to protect myself, I trust no one and often dream of life if I could get cryo frozen like Fry from Futurama so I could be spike Speigel from cowboy bebop.
Oh and memory loss or going off on a tangent.
