@@eazye619 watch the replays from several angles. The spot was reviewed and it was correct. And there was no push off on the last play. Clark just out jumped him. It was highlighted on ESPN also and they didn't think there was a pushoff either. But UNT were bad sports taunting the crowd also after taking the lead. That was low class unsportsmanlike and it fired up the crowd big time for the last drive. And we fired up the team in return. thank you, number 27, for fueling your own loss. Next time just take the W and act like it's not the first one.
@@eazye619 don’t be stupid bro after UNT scored a TD they did “birds down” and the stupid broken wing thing they do. Also the knee never hit the ground so the “favorable spot” was the correct one. We could see that live. Having hands on a player isn’t the same as a push off. You can tell the defender is going to the back of the endzone before the receiver jumps. cUNT really loved up to their name and you’re solidifying it.
My son and I were at this game. A good amount of fans took off in the last 3 minutes thinking UTSA had an easy victory too. Boy, the last 2 minutes was anyone’s game but UTSAs offense gave it to them! Awesome game.
UTSA has been extremely fun to watch every single week this season. Plus Tariq Woolen is playing for my Seahawks now. Great team.
These smaller conferences are a lot of fun to watch this year! I'd even say more entertaining than.the power 5s
They're always fun to watch. But big sports media projects a negative perception on them so they can boost the bottomline for ratings in big market conferences which they have a higher stake in.

As a UNT alum and fan, this one stings. They really have a home field advantage down in San Antonio that we do not have. I went to the Alamodome for a few AAF games back when that was a thing, and it was quite an atmosphere!
Just imagine if they had 65k UTSA fans at each game!!! Hope they start drawing better next games and next year.
We got super fired up after the UNT players, especially #27, started taunting us after taking the lead. That gave us energy as a crowd and we passed it on to our team. I think we might have lost our energy if he hadn't started taunting us.

I was at the game was an awesome game took my brother for his 30 th birthday that was Oct 22 they won on his birthday was with family we had some drinks and ate. Some cold ones awesome game!!

I understand from the announcers that UNT had a good contingent. Hope we make it the same kind of rivalry next year and both play same type games when they switch to the AAC.
I think it really matters that so many of our players are local. we really are the University of Texas San Antonio. no other Texas team has as high a percentage of it's players from here at home. QB and tight end#9 are both local. Clark, who caught the last touchdown, is from fort worth. These are fine, upstanding young men just like our Spurs. It makes it really easy to root for them.
@@mybuddyet I like them even though I'm a UNT grad. I still want the Mean Green to win but I'm also a Spurs fan and there are probably quite a few Spurs fans in the crowd and on the team!

Three things: 1. when i was going to oootsuh (UTSA - that's how we pronounced it), we barely had buildings, let alone a football team. 2. in early 2016, attended a college night at oootsuh with daughter #6 (tried unsuccessfully to talk her into accepting an ROTC scholarship to UTSA. I was absolutely AMAZED by what the campus has become. Back when, it was still all trees and cactus and wildlife. ALTOGETHER different today!!, and 3. Brings tears of pride to my eyes to see how awesome the team is and how strong the support is for them. A wave of orange in the Dome!!!
We should be getting 65K+ at each game. That would be truly amazing. Then city will have to decide to increase capacity to 80 or 90+ or build a 100k+ stadium with UTSA help. That would be neat....

That was extremely exciting. Those receivers/tight ends were playing like they had something to prove. Stretching for a fourth down conversion, extending for a one handed catch on the run while looking line a tackle, floating in the sky to snatch a back shoulder touchdown. Hard to name a more thrilling three play series than that.

They did, unt was the only team they lost to last season (not counting the bowl game) so they felt they had to beat them this year

Honestly this is probably at least half of UTSA games. They love to play up or down to the level of their opponent to give us entertaining football.
Anytime there's a game on Stadium channel, I breakout my Roku TV and hook it up next to my living room TV and have like 2 games on at the same time! I'm thinking of buying a 3rd one and have my own little sports bar in my house. Way to go UTSA!

Forget about the NFL and the Cowboys. We have the best football entertainment here in SA. TV stations need to start putting the RR's above the Cowboys who are 300 miles away, and the Texas 200 miles away and give 1000% support to UTSA football which is in our own backyard. Also maybe the big businesses need to show more support for them too. This game and atmosphere can make for great recruiting for Traylor.
