My dad is a big time TCU fan ever since moving to the metroplex back in the 70's from Central Texas. Dr's are saying we won't have him too much longer after being a Vietnam Vet and hard working man ever since. His vision and hearing are almost gone but he still was able to semi watch this game. Even if TCU doesn't win the national title, this is a game that he i know he'll never forget. Go Frogs. Thank you for giving some excitement to my dad's crazy life of nurses and Dr's.

It was literally the best Fiesta Bowl and Peach Bowl in decades! Maybe ever. Both were amazing games. What a great day of college football.

One of the best team's! Beside playing ohio State, only one of these teams played a worthy schedule! The more deserving team won the game. A non-Conference Champion wouldn't been in a real CFP...Just like the last national title game between two teams from the same Conference SEC vs SEC. CFP isn't a true format. Maybe some day...But congrats to TCU. This Win makes up for years of KNOCKING the title game door, even before they weren't in a PWR-5 Conference.

@@my1rule I've said it ALL SEASON long that Michigan is an over-rated team who played one of the weakest schedules of all Power 5 schools. Definitely played one of the weakest non-conference schedule in the nation. NO WAY Michigan would have been undefeated if they played in the SEC. Any SEC school had a tougher schedule than Michigan had. Mississippi State played a much tougher schedule than Michigan did this year. They played a greater number of ranked teams, and they played BOTH Alabama and Georgia this season.

Who is back here now, watching this as a direct correlation to what transpired, and winning the national championship in 2024? To me, it wasn’t the other 14 games. We won to get us to that game, but it was the lost of TCU and the loss to Georgia.

TCU wasn't in the top 20 to start the season and rebuilding with a new coach... TCU has had a storybook season. They just beat the best team in the nation in my books. I thought MI was the best all year. I'd love to see them win it all.
TCU wasn't anywhere near the preseason Top 25 & was expected to finish near the bottom of the conference and wasn't even ranked until week 5.

As A Michigan Fan, this hurts. I would like to say congrats to TCU though. You guys were great. Quentin Johnston did really well, the running game was on point, and Dee Winters tore us apart. We also fell apart because of terrible mistakes and terrible officiating, but beside that, you guys controlled this game. Nice job! I’m rooting for you!

TCU had a response to everything Michigan hit them with. They never once folded. They never once felt like they were gonna lose that game. This has been a memorable playoff.

TCU was an amazing team last year. I think the sign stealing scandal has almost attempted to take away from this team but they made Michigan’s defense look like they were playing on ice skates and as a Michigan fan, it has been a while since I’ve seen a team do that.
That being said, I also have not seen Michigan’s offense look so potent. To know they were down by almost 3 touchdowns and came within a drive from winning the game is crazy.
What a game. Looking forward to a Michigan team that learned from the past this CFP season.

TCU should still not be top 4. Michigan refused to let themselves win. TCU did what they needed to win but Michigan left 14 points on the field and gave TCU 21.

Georgia players were eating chicken during the game on the sidelines in the fourth quarter because it was such a joke of a game. That's what happens when you let crappy conferences into the playoff.

Johnston been doing this all season. I've watched TCU all season. Everyone knows he's a top 10 pick. And he still gets open. I knew TCU's speed and Michigan's youth would be a problem. But Michigan fans should be proud. Those kids honored that uniform with that effort.
At the end of the game, I felt sorry for the fans of Michigan! They had so many highs and lows that I was surprised someone didn't end up in the hospital. The bottom line: TCU led the entire game, and TCU never lost its composure when things didn't go their way. The coaching staff did an excellent job calling the plays and the head coach provided stability to keep the TCU ship headed into the Michigan storm. To sum it up, TCU, the Underdog dominated the game and silenced the ESPN announcers.

@@markross882 OSU was in cover zero on both those plays. On the first one he broke a tackle and on the second they were so far outside they had no chance. Edwards isn’t crazy fast to begin with. My point is that overall team speed can’t be judged by racing corners and DBs.
OU fan here. After TCU beat us and started making a run through the conference I started rooting for them. They played a great game as an underdog against Meeechigan and my hat's off to them! CONGRATS TCU!!

These 2 Semi Final games were by far the best since the CFP was implemented. All I can remember is how everyone kept saying TCU didn't deserve to make it in. Also remember hearing a lot of people say Ohio State didn't deserve it after they lost to Michigan. I personally can't think of any other teams that would have made these games any better matched.
The 2015 & 2016 Semis w Mich St & Ohio St are up there plus ND in 2018. Those were great games. ha ha.

Crazy. Im a new football fan and I love this. I went to watch OSU vs TCU a year ago as my dad got free tickets, TCU lost badly, and this year, they're in the playoffs. How awesome, didn't expect this. Love TCU.

I’m a Michigan fan and I’m very disappointed (especially if OSU beats UGA).
I have to give credit to TCU for playing great football. They stopped the run, forced turnovers, ran over Michigan’s defense and had the lead the entire game.
I think Michigan would of won if we didn’t turn the ball over at the 1yd line or for a defensive TD multiple times each

Yeah I watched TCU a ton this year and usually it was Duggan running it or they'd just show a run here and there while they kept passing. Nobody expected them to out rush Michigan like that.
