I would hold off for a few months on that front. We don't know if our dear Metal Gear lover wants to go back to that identity for more than the upcoming summer collab; it may just be a temporary stint she wants to do to keep her creative spirit flowing while she waits for a certain opportunity to open up (read: auditions to a big vtuber agency that isn't Niji).

Fizz it out... yeah honestly makes sense, specially cause "current Pomu" might be just a temporary thing? How to address this with the annoying red tape of corpos is something that will always bother us... but what can you do? For know we keep supporting both and perhaps, if we're lucky, the legend of the idol otakus and her idol senpai will finally be fulfilled

Pomu turned into dearsqn who turned into maid mint again. Can just use her by her new name or whatever she ends up as if is she wants to mention her. Lol.
Problem is she posted videos with sqn on her pl/irl account, so mentioning that name would be drawing attention to that which she isn't allowed to do.
Calli, Choco, and Mel have all made IRL appearances with Kson. Calli has also done so with Connor and some other friends of hers. Cover doesn't care as long as they aren't actively breaking kayfabe. Cover MIGHT want them to avoid publicly associating with former nijien members just to avoid them getting dragged into all that drama, but generally speaking they can do whatever they want when they aren't in character.
Thanks for explaining what wasn't said, because as someone who doesn't follow this stuff the whole clip was just kinda confusing.

@@irfanalfian8164because the selen incident brought out all the worst people who don't care about the separation between PL and current incarnation. In my recommendation alone I've seen and blocked at least 3 clippers who outright put it in either thumbnail or title that "ghost maid = Pomu".
Like, if the vtuber themselves said they want people to spread the connection between incarnation (like doki) then sure no problem, but these damn pests don't care about what the vtubers want, they just want clout.
@@Bluboo0 If this were last year, I would agree with you. But I've seen a clip of a small vtuber who was a dedicated Bark Knight and cried when her oshi Doki was graduating.
Skip to years later when the Selen situation was still new. She watched a clip of Selen and recognized her voice, and it blew her mind that her oshi worked as a big time Corpo vtuber and she didn't know all this time.
Now granted, this could be fake but it resonated with me. Her story could be fake but for other fans, that could literally happen.
Maybe it's time for the PL taboo to become less taboo and more optional for fans to respect or not. As long as they don't bring PL info right into the vtuber's face or channel then it should be fine.

Ugh, that (probably) is such a bait question! Most fans of Kiara by now, I presume, are already aware of the plethora of activities shared by "alt" accounts lately. And Pomu especially is traversing across several accounts. Asking this question is just putting Kiara in an awkward spot because they aren't allowed to discuss alt accounts.
But maybe the person who asked that is oblivious, which is fair enough.

I was just wondering because she usually goes into a lot of details when talking about meeting people and because Pomu was so special to her if there was still something she would like to say without touching up on what she did with her as her "alt". I'm planning to not ask about meetings anymore, she knows what we are interested in hearing and if she doesn't mention it by herself, there's probably a reason.

Yeah, so "Pomu ceased to exist", but tweet and yap about the "cuties" from clique - is normal. Wtf, Kiara, honestly.
Pomu graduated and is niji IP, Also she's not debuted as Mint out side matara's podcast thing. after mint is back kiara will use that name when talking about her. she probably didn't want to use the Dearsqn handle when mint is the active one. It's a moment of indecisive on which name to use. as for the others can't really say, other than Kiara ignores a lot of none holo stuff and was off line for February to detox from socials when niji EN had their Chernobyl. She's likely not aware of all the rumors and Rrat's.
Because there's a really good chance that we don't know where Mint will be in a year. She's been really cagey about what she'll be doing after the Mint and Matara podcast is over and was hanging out with Kiara and the twins. She probably grilled them on the working conditions and may be applying. If she is, she wont know for a while if she's in or not and Kiara doesn't want to possible leak something on stream. If Mint doesn't get in, she may be going to VSJ. Personally, I'm excited for both possibilities as she has friends in both companies and the possibility of joint Holo-VSJ concerts goes way up.
Once things involving Mint's internet identity are fixed in place, Kiara will more then likely just refer to her as that.
