its not really uncommon for flight attendants to be from a different country. especially in arab airlines from the arab peninsula since arab women dont have a strong work culture over there. in my flights with emirates i saw a mix of european, african, or maybe turkish. arab attendants there was like maybe 1-2 a flight.
