Hi Bold Bakers! Make sure to check out the *FIRST-EVER 24/7 Baking Livestream* (czcams.com/users/liveleSBCTqyc2Q) featuring every episode of Bigger Bolder Baking ever made. And let me know how you get on with Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Cookies recipe!
I will try your recipe but if you add some oatmeal and this would be like my ultimate cookie(melted butter no milk), you could even throw in some nuts like pecans and walnuts. It came out like yours, so tasty. 😋
I just made these and they are amazing! I have been making Gemma's Best Ever Chocolate Chip Cookies for the past few years, regularly, and they are always a hit. These are absolutely being added to the rotation!
Hi Gemma ❤️, Happy Independence Day! 🎉 Oh Gemma, I love peanut butter! This recipe is so easy ! I love that I can freeze them . When the cookies came out of the oven, they- Perfection! The color, excellent proportion of chocolate, peanuts , peanut butter! I will definitely be giving this a go! ❤
Hi Gemma hope you are well...those cookies looks absolutely heavenly 🤤❤ b/w some cookies that uses the Creaming method to form the dough asks to fold the dry ingredients in the end like u did but some calls for just mixing them on low with a electric hand mixer....does it make a difference or we can do it either way?
I prefer to fold mainly because over handling or mixing can overwork the gluten in the dough, resulting in a tough cookie. But mixing on low can also work.
I don't recommend it as the proportion of flour to baking powder in self raising flour will significantly change the texture and consistency of the cookies. There's way too much baking powder in SR flour vs the recipe. Hope this helps.
You can replace the nuts with other nuts, including pecans. Note that peanut butter is also in the recipe, as it adds flavor to the dough. Hope it turns out well for you 😊 Here's the full recipe, www.biggerbolderbaking.com/chocolate-chip-peanut-butter-cookies/
Technically, you can cook in a pellet smoker anything you can cook in your oven. But it might have a smokey 'flavor' as a result. Result may vary. Hope this helps.

I do not like peanut butter cookies made without natural peanut butter and more than 3 ingredients because all of the extra ingredients takes away the true peanut butter flavor.
I weighed out the ingredients. The weights are no where close to the cups indicated. Not sure which is a better way to measure with this recipe…my dough was a bit dry. Baking them now, so we’ll see the result. Update: They’re just o’k. I like another recipe better, so I’ll go back to that one. 20-22 minutes is way too long. Mine are brown at 12-13. They are crispy, but dry out quickly. Better to eat them a couple of minutes out of the oven or you’ll need to dip them in milk, or coffee!
I hope they turned out well. Weight measurement is the more accurate unit for measurement. But note that flours do not absorb liquids / wet ingredients the same way; it may need more less than the amount in the recipe. I recommend you hold back on the liquids when combining wet and dry ingredients. Add more if necessary or use less if applicable. Adjust the amount of wet ingredients, until the dough comes together and reaches the same consistency shown in the video. Hope this helps.
@@biggerbolderbaking My family is eating them, so that’s a good sign! I usually weigh out ingredients, especially for bread making. Our flour in Canada is different, too….higher in protein? Not sure if that can make a difference. But, I do love your recipes!
Like with most recipes, you can reduce the sugar. But to achieve a result that is still good, lessen the amount but no more than a quarter (or a third) of the amount in the recipe. Best result however is still the original recipe. Taste is subjective, hence make adjustments according to preference.

Hi Gemma what brand of choc chips did u use? Next time can u plz weigh the cookie ball thanks
Hi. I use different brands; Nestle, Ghirardelli, etc.
Would it be easier to replace the peanut with pecan? I can tell that would be so good too

Tired and lazy and old. You delightful, funny and beautiful woman.

Will this recipe work in a pellet smoker?
Technically, you can cook in a pellet smoker anything you can cook in your oven. But it might have a smokey 'flavor' as a result. Result may vary. Hope this helps.
Happy 4th of July
Happy Fourth of July to you, bold bakers!
can you use butter flavored crisco
Technically, you can. I would still go with real butter though for both flavor and consistency.
Ohh i miss them so much. 😢 My son is highly allergic to peanuts. So no peanuts or anything likely in our home 🥺
I'm sorry to hear that. I have other cookie recipes over at www.biggerbolderbaking.com. I hope you'll find one you'll like. Thanks for being here.

My cookies dint turned out crispy
Hi. Your cookies may need more time in the oven. Baking time can vary as ovens do not always function / perform in the exact same way.
