      Pattern hair loss is caused by a predisposed genetic sensitivity to Dihydrotestosterone (DHT), not poor blood circulation. For men, finasteride and minoxidil are perfectly safe and clinically proven treatments. For women, topical minoxidil is available in a lower dose, but it’s best to talk with your dermatologist about proper treatment; not with this fool trying to make money from people!

      The word Journey is not a euphemism. The meaning of word euphemism is the substitution of a mild or pleasant expression for one that is too strong or unpleasant. For example, " pass away" is a widely used euphemism for someone who has died. I used the word journey to describe my hair growth progress. Make sure you know the meaning of a word before you use it and further more my comment was addressed to the channel creator and not yourself. There's no need to be rude, thank you.

    Guys, don't lose hope. As someone who has the most aggressive hair loss (my two brothers were Norwood 7 by 28-30), not to mention aggressive retrograde alopecia as well, all my cousins in both families are Norwood 6-7 by 30. I am 32 and have managed to keep 90% of my hair. Unfortunately I experienced bad side effects from finasteride and had to quit. However, using minoxidil + microneedling saved my hair. I strongly believe that DHT is related to blood circulation, which in turn due to low supply leads to hair loss. I used a derma roller + minoxidil and kept losing hair. Once I switched to a high-quality pen, within two months my shedding stopped and my hair started to get thicker by month 4 with a lot of new growth. I have followed this protocol for 5 years and haven't lost ground. It's possible-just be consistent. use a good Pen and do NOT skip sessions. If it worked for me, it should work for EVERYONE.

    I'd love to massage my scalp and it's great to finally hear the proper technique from a professional.. But my scalp is so sensitive, dandruff prone (not sure if it's sd or psoriasis) and dehydrated, that no matter how delicate I am with it... It gets really irritated and the roots hurt a lot. I don't know how to massage my scalp anymore or do anything with it! I can't even brush my hair properly.. It has to be utterly delicate

    Would this help if you’re going it in isolation i.e. not following up with a topical treatment?
    I’m currently using a silicone, manual scalp massager for 15 minutes daily. I do it in such a way that moves scalp over skull so I’m hoping it’s beneficial. Been doing it for nearly 3 months so far alongside weekly rosemary oil application. Early days but hoping for good results.

    • @averagejane09
      @averagejane09 Před 6 měsíci +4

      @@haydendupire7432 I think the video does say the massage is in addition to treatment, as in it enhances it and not replaces it. I have watched quite a few videos of people who themselves had hair loss and they say massage was surprisingly helpful. Likely more a factor in stress loss of hair, but I can't imagine increasing circulation with massage would not be useful at all no matter what the reason for the loss.

    I have a thin layer of skin on my scalp and skin that does not move very much. I once knew a hairdresser with thick lustrous hair and his scalp skin was thick and spongy - I guess that means he had a good supply of blood to his follicles. I’ve always had thin, fine hair which has just got worse with age.

      When you have hair for subcutaneous, fat layer is thicker… Typically around 9 mm. When you are totally bald, then it shrinks down to 2 mm.
