- In March of 2021 we loaded up an original Chevy C1500 OBS truck with all the parts needed to install a complete air suspension system and together with our 2012 Silverado (already equipped with air suspension) we drove to Fort Worth Texas for the Goodguys 11th LMC Truck Spring Lone Star Nationals.
We completed the install on Friday and Saturday (took the truck to an alignment shop Saturday evening) and then drove the truck home on Sunday.
Over 1600 miles total.

Kept waiting for them to break out the wire wheel and clean up and paint the frame before they put the shiny new bits on and threw the bed back on her.
Same bro same lol
Simply awe-inspiring! I'm getting ready to convert my 2004 grand voyager rear leaf springs to 4-link and airbags. Drooling over Ridetech parts and videos have built up my confidence to an unsafe level, and my project is gonna be like a night with Bill Cosby: it's going down, whether you like it or not!
nice! Ive been waiting for a install video on the air suspension kit
Those style chevys look so nice slammed on the ground. Beautiful truck
Awesome install, and no welding at all.
It’s nice to see the gmt400’s getting some love, they are still cheap and fairly plentiful now. Make nice toys!
Definitely not cheap anymore these Mexicans are buying them all up
Can't wait to do mine like this. Clean ride
All these lowering kits 👌 are just down to a science. It's a No brainer..
I got the same truck just a clean and lowered. I wish i could do it for the more comfortable ride itself.
Unfortunately my tires are too wide
😍😍😍 love it!
awesome
Good story, nice movie.
Yes

I noticed it said Southern Indiana, where at??? I'm in Columbus, IN with a single cab short bed 1st gen S10
Jasper Indiana
@@ridetechtv I use to be pretty deep in the scene even without a truck. The culture is more grassroots and brotherly than any other culture and that's what drew me in. I'm hoping to help bring the scene back to Indiana next year
That awesome 👏🏻
Makes me wanna do my 97 RCSB now. Love it and whst rims are those
Can i get a link to order a set up but I’m looking for just the rear set up for my 93
Very, very nice truck AND work..
Will this work with a step side to ?
What the specific name of the system they use?
How much would it cost to do this to a 2003 s10
Daaaaaaaaatzzz Nice!!!
How much was it

How much does something like this cost?
Around $10,000
How much?
Around $10,000 with a compressor
7 g's .... 😂 And don't forget about the price for paying for install......😂10 g's all day in a $1000 truck..😂
Yeah the price tag for the air ride is crazy but if you think this truck is only worth $1000 your crazy. One in this condition would be $5000 easy. Do some research.
This system is terrible. Had nothing but issues. Nice that it’s direct bolt on but it has so many flaws it’s not even funny. Ridetech has been bought out a few times. No one knows what the heck anything is and they do not replace faulty parts even though you paid 9000 dollars. Cheap crap don’t buy!
You say you had this system? I have some questions about the front setup…. I called ridetech today and definitely felt that the guy was a little clueless about the product.
I already have a kp components rear end kit and i have aftermarket control arms for the front that are designed to accept the airbag.
My question is about the upper bag cups in front. In the video they didnt trim the spring pocket up font. Is that legit? I have had to cut the spring pockets for bag clearance as well as cut the upper cup down to 2-2 1/2” tall in the past, in order to lay out on 22’s. This time around im want the benefits of air ride but i dont want to drag frame. I will be running 24’s.
Did the tall upper bag cups/brackets work as they should without trimming the spring pocket?
Nothing like GM built garbage
Ridetec air management is trash
Rich people problems , had to give a thumbs down. This isn’t a average Joe’s video.
