Rubihorn Nordwand

An ascent of the Rubihorn North Face in the German Alps in suboptimal conditions after a period of fresh snow fall in January 2014. The Rubihorn is a classical 450 meter winter mixed route (snow, grass and
rock) graded M4. After the main difficulties, we traversed to "Carpe Diem" and abseiled down, because we wanted to get back to our beloved dog asap. One day after returning home, we heard that the 4 climbers following us had to be rescued because they got stuck while abseiling down (difficult night time longline rescue).
