There's something very natural and organic about TJ. There's a purity to his style of fighting. I've never seen him fight with any kind of anger, rage or ego. Even with all the drama he had with Cody, he was so calm and collected in the octagon. How he dismantled Barao in both of those fights was nothing but GOD-given talent.
duane is a great coach, introducing the stance switch along with the classic dutch combos to tj has given him so many options to set up big shots/takedowns, super smart style

excited for this one, aljo is great and so is tj, should be very techical and tj should have success defending the patented back attacks of aljamain imo. hopefully a striking war, where aljo is underrated imo

@@bobby9458 aljo will have to neutralize tjs pressure with both lateral and linear movement to keep the distance, if aljo keeps his takedown attempts up whenever tj pressures too recklessly thatâll aid his ability to keep the distance even if theyâre not successful takedowns. Honestly I think aljo could win the first couple rounds but tj will catch up and close strong, body shots will be important for tj. Both have the tools to keep the other guy out of their gameplan on the feet, could be a tale of 2 fights from the first half to the second half of the fight. Donât see a quick finish either way unless aljo gets his back early or tj connects a big kick or knee on a level change like moraes did, or maybe a crippling body shot. Probably gonna favor aljo slightly because of how good he is at getting to the back and keeping it, if he banks a round like that then that would be a deep hole for tj to dig his way out of
Aljo probably the more explosive on the ground and on the feet but itâs everything inbetween where TJ is better, TJ got more volume, variety and technique
@@charliewaters2259 theyre both super explosive athletes but i agree with the point about transitions. aljo might be the quicker of the two but thats not necesarily more explosive.

Some fighters really are next level. Not just striking but being able to take these shots and not only keep fighting but win. Like Cruz beating TJ after taking some of these head kicks just made me think about all the fighters who have eaten crazy shots and still won. Just shows how tough these dudes really are man and how much adrenaline is a wonder drug lol

EPO doesn't give him the fluid motion, the smooth stance switches, his movement, gliding across the octagon. Popping his opponent with off-beat shots and setting amazing traps. The guy is a phenomenal fighter.
