Is there a car adapter to charge the battery. It would be nice not to have to bring the battery inside weekly to charge.

Alberto, if you are going to store the battery for extended periods of time (like during Covid), be sure to unplug the battery from the scooter, fully charge it, and charge the battery at least once every three months thereafter when not in use.

My battery also has a button on the battery itself. Push that button and an indicator goes back and forth as if its charging. When this stops, does it also mean the battery is charged?

We recommend only using the indicator light on the charger itself. The indicator light on the battery itself can be helpful when you are using the TravelScoot but there is also the indicator on the throttle that gives you a good idea of how much battery charge you have left.

@@TravelScootUSA OK. The next time someone comes over to assist me I'll plug the battery into the scoot and look at the throttle indicator lights. I think the battery indicator light set may be broken as they show all red and I never ran that battery all the way down and it seems to charge normally according to the lights on the charger. I hope it's not a dead battery because it isn't very old and was seldom used.

My battery seemed to charge properly but when I push the button on the battery to see the indicator lights they are all solid red. Is my battery broken?

Do we charge it from 50% to make it last longer

We recommend charging it after every use and not going more than 4 months without charging it. Once the battery is charged, remove it from the charger and don't charge the battery while plugged into the scooter.
