Caitlyn's Story

The relationships built here at Children’s are truly life-changing. Here, Caitlyn-a 21-year-old patient served through our Cystic Fibrosis program-reflects on her journey with this chronic disease and the care she’s received that’s helped her every step of the way. Her story highlights the expertise of Dr. John Colombo, a beloved pediatric pulmonologist who retires this month. We wish Caitlyn and Dr. Colombo all the best as they enter new personal chapters, and thank CFF-Nebraska for their advocacy & partnership!

I just see now that this video is three years old. I hope this amazing young lady and her husband have kids already and that she is doing great. She got a 1 in a million doctor with Dr. Columbo he is part of their family. I hope she found a worthy replacement for him.
