I don't understand what I am supposed to look at on my chair to know what the right cord is.......I see in your case that it is a 2 pin back up pack, but don't know what or where you looked to determine this. I also don't understand where the back up battery plugged in on the chair. I could see that you used screws to attach the unit to the back side beneath the flap of your chair.....but overall I feel confused and clueless. I am not tech savvy and feel out of my depth as I try to learn what to do and what to get so that I will never again get trapped in my power chair. It was a bad feeling that led to re-injuring my knee, so I am determined to find out what to buy, but needs more basics to be successful. You have made it look very easy.......but I am still not understanding what to buy. I own a Catnapper chair, called the cloud in sage green. I have jotted down input and output info but don't know how to translate that so I know what to buy. Maybe I need to start over with my education but my white hair and health issues say a very firm but polite no. Sigh, you made it look so easy........thanks for sharing this! I'm more convinced than ever that there is a lot I don't know or understand. Wish I was as smart as you are! Take care!

Ruth, I will see if I can get more detailed answers soon. Yes it’s all a bit confusing, I was also confused and spend hours trying to understand what was required. It’s not clear.

Also, if you are unable to get out of chair when it won’t move this may not be good idea unless you intend to leave it plugged in.
That is, I love the no cords but when battery goes dead I have to climb out and plug it in.
If you are wanting a house power out back up this would be great.

@@554LH That is so kind, but only do it if you have the time and are up to it........I have been trying to figure things out through a cloud of brain fog.......but I have been thinking about your video. It sounds like I will need help to push my chair over and then see where the connection is within the backside of the recliner. Once I see where it is I should be able to see what the shape of the connection is. I have very limited energy so with that being shared, I never want to drain energy from anyone who needs it for other things.......quiet smile of understanding. I was trying to get answers and going about it in perhaps the wrong way. I sent a message to the manufacturer of my chair and so far no response. I tried calling stores near me that sell the catnapper. One sales lady told me to call a number in North Carolina and once I got more info she said to call her back and they could then order it for me. The number rang and rang and then said it was no longer a working number. The lady told me to buy it from them would be $229.00 plus tax and ship fees. Ouch, that seemed like a very pricey option. I spoke to a few more people, the sales rep for the manufacturer said they don't sell a back up battery. I said that's interesting, two other stores say that you do.......hmmm. All my hunting has left me tired and wishing I could cross my arms like Jeannie from I Dream of Jeannie......cross my arms and make a battery pack appear already connected and doing it's job! I'm recuping from surgery & my air conditoner stopped working.......not my best week! On the plus side my car is fixed, on the negative side I can't get a ride to go get it until Monday at 4. LIfe is all about patience these days. Yes, I do have cabin fever........can you tell!?! Thanks for writing back........and thanks for sharing your video!

It seems that you have had this battery pack for almost a year, any issues with it? Can you provide your honest feedback? I am about to order one from Amazon , based on reviews I am not 100% sold on this battery pack yet.

It still works but it needs to be charged weekly. Also bending over to plug it in is a chore at my age. Over all I am still happy, but I might look for bigger or longer lasting power. No operational issues for unit yet. Thank you for asking😀
