    This was a very informative video, now I know more about deers and their origin and species count. (I guessed the region of the southern pudu (the pudu puda) correct!(It was Argentina and Chile)) Thank you deer, best regards!

    I notice that you did not include the black-tail deer. I suppose you lumped them in with the muleys.

    photo shown for Mazama rufina is Mazama americana; photo for Pudu mephistophiles is a Mazama rufina; first photo for Ozotoceros bezoarticus is a Blastocerus dichotomus (this species is the Marsh Deer, Ozotoceros is the Pampas deer);

    the best part is that all mistakes can be fixed. I am sure you can ask experts to validate old world species photographs. Still, the effort is appreciated.

    Neither the Indian sambar nor the hog deer is vulnerable or endangered in India. The sambar is now about as numerous as the chital (axis axis).
