  • This was my first time riding a cruiser styled bike and I think I'm starting to like them.
    May contain loud noises originating from my mouth.

    Nice review, just bought one. Can’t wait to ride with it on Chapman Peak 😋. Coming from HD world, the tork is not so impressive and I don’t like the vibrations on the seat at low rev. Apart this, I love it and show off at “I love Melkies” terrace

    Great review of the Xdiavel, I got stuck in traffic on mine and it does get really but getting the upgraded exhaust helps remedy that.

      TheChosen_1 apparently wrapping the exhaust also helps (not sure if that's what you were talking about)

    I am tall guy .. about 185 cm .. weight around 95 kg .. u think this bike will fit me good , i need your opinion cuz if yes ill fly to the nearest Ducati showroom for a tryout “ which is 1200 km away 😢

      I'm about the same height as you and a bit lighter and the bike suited me fine. Pegs are adjustable forward and back so you can customise it to suit your needs. It's an awesome bike and I don't think you would be disappointed. If you're into more cruising than cornering, can't get much better. If you want the torque but enjoy dragging knee, maybe look at a Monster 1200R.

    I own one in the uk and it's a great bike but has its flaws but never have to worry about getting too hot here so don't notice it lol

    We need guys that ride cruisers to review cruisers. Not sport bike riders who think feet forward is weird (when 80% of all Harley’s are made that way).

    • @AiroRider
      @AiroRider  Před 5 lety +1

      Well, having someone from a sportbike background gives a different perspective. Some people want to go from sport to cruiser or vice versa, so I think it's good to have opinions from both sides.

    Well, it wouldn't be a Ducati if it 1) wasn't one of the most fun things to ride ever and 2) scorch you while sitting still.

    I have a XDS - you must have a very sensitive bum... I ride in 35 C traffic - it gets hot but not uncomfortably burn hot. Agree with the "harsh" suspension - also a pricey bike. I'm adding a KTM Superduke to the stable soon (two totally different bikes though!). If Ducati can sort the suspension and drop the fwd pegs, this is an awsome bike!

    • @AiroRider
      @AiroRider  Před 6 lety +1

      TheJWC56 well Ducati does offer a conventional peg aftermarket mod, which brings the pegs to the under bum position similar to the normal Diavel. I mean I only really felt the harsh heat when I was stopped for a while, after i got up to 30km/h I was fine. But I might just be sensitive 😅

      AiroRider Correct.... But for R14k??? No way! Regards.

      You can adjust the rear suspension with a coin. Turn it anti clockwise for a turn and half and it becomes way softer... or safer ask Ducati to do it for you

  • @mhs2501
    @mhs2501 Před 6 lety

    Dude it's a cruiser not a sporty shit. Stiffer suspension is obvious to handle curse from the bad and even off roads if one dares to take such a costly bike for such insane adventures. This cruiser from the duccati can bring shame to many sporty bikes in acceleration.

    You don't need that much skill to do over 40 degrees. Also most super bikes can do around 55 degrees on the track and close to 50 on a mountain pass with a bit of skill and setup
    cyclecruza is the worst. You should not pay attention to what he says at all. He compared a 220kg 156hp belt drive XDiavel S cruiser to the 189kg 185hp chain drive KTM Super Duke 1290 R super naked and made a bunch of other stupid statements. Just don't trust what he says

    • @AiroRider
      @AiroRider  Před 6 lety

      Fair enough, Cyclecruza isn't the best at comparing apples with apples. As far as the leaning goes, I meant most people won't lean past 40 degrees unless they're on the track. On the road, 40 is a fair bit, especially if you account for debris and other hazards. My point was more that it's not limited by its lean angle as much as some may think.

      Not 185hp sir! More likely to be 170 - 175hp... and that is not rear wheel...
