What Hamilton JUST DID with Mercedes Is INSANE!

  • ■ Mercedes has entered into a great process of developing their car to fight in the front with both of its drivers locking in the front row in Silverstone, however, with Hamilton moving away and going to a team that saw its leading driver being lapped 3 times after Monaco, one couldn’t help but wonder - is the 7-time world champion regretting his decision right now? Although his goals are beyond 2026 and not many hoped that 2025 could be a true representative season given the ‘pattern’ of Hamilton’s past when he joined Mercedes in 2013 and started winning in the first years of the regulations, does Ferrari hold some key answers to the new regulations and do they have what it takes to bring the first one home after 2007?

Hamilton doesn’t give 2 shits about performance. He just wants to drive for Ferrari. He has mentioned this before.

Hamilton just wants Ferrari to give him a competitive car and he will do the rest.

almost all of the current F! drivers would be front runners given a near perfect car . above 80 mph aero rules supreme .How low can you go before the MAGNET smacks itself into the track and eliminates all of the suck .

That is what he told Nikki Lauda when he coming to Mercedes, "I'm not coming to compete, I am coming to win championships once you give me a competitive car".
And win championships he did. So, Ferrari should follow suit.

You do realize Ferrari on the old spec is just 0.15 off the McLaren ?
Spec 3, probably has one part that fcks up the balance.
Pretty sure we will see in Hungary a spec2-spec3 hybrid

Lewis can win in any car that's cable of running up front like all great drivers. Moving to Ferrari may seam like a dream but it may turn into a night mare if they don't figure out what's going on with their car this year. Ferrari may have a great racing history but is this car cable of winning Lewis his 8th Champion ship. If not Lewis made a very bad choice at this point leaving a winning team.

Hamilton is showing a good race for once and now let's wait and see if he can continue to do so. Usually he's not that consistent

He is leaving because Mercedes offered the 8 time champion a one year contract..they wanted control so they could bring in the star kid..or max...if this is not a slap in the face i don't know what is..he wanted to stay in stead they offered it to max..don't spit in my face and tell me it's rain!##$$44 GOAT!

The guy is at the last hundred metres of his F1 career marathon… few drivers can claim success at the top three legacy brands McLaren/Mercedes/Ferrari… I’m sure if he wins his 8th at Ferrari, his 2 championships short Juan Manuel Fangio record of championships at multiple (4) different teams

Lewis moved because he wants a new challenge, to solidify his legacy and have greater influence over the whole racing team, which he would never get at Mercedes given his tenure there and the team strategy.
Lewis is a smart man. I have had dealings with him through team sponsorships. He doesn’t rush anything. He has not done anything INSANE. Sir Hamilton will be fine.

No need for Lewis to stay and he should not have any regrets because Mercedes had their time with a great record in the sport.
Mercedes shows they true colours by offering Max the world to join them without winning any race or championship for them.
Lewis won most race and championship for Mercedes who fails to fight in his corner in 2021 and offering Lewis a better long term deal.
So in my opinion it's not a bad decision on Lewis part.
Now is the best time to leave the team and try his best with a new team.

2026 will play a crucial role in whether Hamilton has made the right move from next year onwards.
What do you think, will Ferrari or Mercedes put things together better from 2026 onwards? 👀

More than anything, Lewis knows it is a team sport. He will bring a lot of positive to Ferrari. It may very well be in a funny sort of way , exactly what the prancing horse needs as well as Lewis. As for Mercedes, they will continue to compete to be up front. Time will tell. Just a view from the other side of the fence,

Every F1 driver dreams of winning the championship, and driving for Ferrari. He's done everything except drive for Ferrari, so that's what hes going to do. Doesn't bother him if he doesn't win with them - it would be nice, but thats not why he's going.
