Crazy facts about the Congo River : in these 'narrow' parts like here the depht can be more than 600 feet, with a current so violent it act like a barrier even for the fish.
Scientists have discovered some species on a side of the river that had evolved differently than their counterparts from the opposite bank!

That guy is an amazingly strong swimmer. He doesn't even look like he's exerting himself.
He can't drown and knows it. One of his balls is steel and the other one is a flotation device. When in the water he leans to one side to float up and the other side to sink. It's a new phenomenon called Ball Rotary.

I was kinda hardwired to doing this crazy dive growing up in the island( I was small then, the water typhoons had somewhat shaped our confidence in some ways)but this raging volume of water is way wilder…that man is dangerous indeed!

I am TENTA, I live in France I'm one of this congolese fisherman's sons called TENTA Philip diving into water. I just want to correct somebody who wrote down here, saying that this man is insane. I just want to precise that this man isn't insane, he raised up his children thanks to this job and most of us are graduate thanks to this job he did. I'm deeply proud him. Learn to respect other people's jobs and cultures.
