Mr. GK - doubt about the stars. You said the stars that we are seeing today are not live stars. If we are seeing the old stars which emitted light so many light years ago, then how are we seeing the same stars every day? I mean the same constellation is there for millions of years. So how is that possible. One day those stars should disappear right? I am confused with this one

அதேமாதிரி ஒரு புள்ளியில் இருந்து இவ்வளவு பெரிய அண்டங்கள் தோன்றியிருக்க முடியாது. வேண்டுமானால் இவையனைத்தும் ஒரே புள்ளியில் மிக அடர்த்தியான பெரிய புள்ளியில் இருந்து வெடித்து தான் சிதறி இருக்க வேண்டும்.

It is interesting to know that waves are due to combined gravitational pull of Sun and Moon is new information for me, now more waves make more sense. I used to wonder the size of the moon does not increase but only the portion that is visible is increasing, then why more waves? Thanks for sharing.

For example betelgeuse is 642.5 light years far away from earth. researchers found betelgeuse is dying. if we see the supernova of betelgeuse right now that means it happened 642.5 years ago.its the time supernova's light takes to reach earth.
Then how we are seeing the planets in the sky? Even that we are seeing in light years. Sometimes NASA tells that we can see the planet on this day how is that possible?? It's just a doubt.
