  • The perfect complement to an auto clutch, the Rekluse Left-Hand Rear Brake provides high performance braking power while allowing riders to operate the rear brake using only their left hand. Riders keep the option and function of the rear foot pedal. The all new system features a Rekluse engineered and machined full size master cylinder and Rail Adjuster (RAD) Mount Technology.
    The Rekluse Left-Hand Rear Brake helps riders to navigate challenging terrain including steep declines and narrow ridges with ease. In addition, it provides riders the ability to use their left hand to drag the rear brake in cornering situations for better line setup and faster riding with more confidence.

    I bought and fitted mine but was disappointed with the lack of power to be honest. I ended up using the Rekluse system in the rear reservoir but replacing the master cylinder with a Brembo unit which is superb.

    • @RekluseMotorSports
      @RekluseMotorSports  Před 3 lety +2

      You bet. You can modulate the rear brake with even more precision and control than you could with the brake pedal. Or if you prefer to use your brake pedal like normal, it will still be fully functional as it was.

      @@RekluseMotorSports so your saying its good for stand up wheelies I ask because I spoke to someone that has the new generation witch is this one and they said it don't have enough power to bring u down from stand ups wheelies only asking because If the brake don't do what's its meant to do people can get hurt but at the end of the day it's there own fault because shouldn't be doing wheelies but you think it's stronger enough

    Why did youtube recommend this video to me?
    lol, it didn't , I was searching a double lever set up
    that I could use on my bike.
    I wasn't sure if it should be with the front brake or
    on the clutch side. I'm still not sure which would be better,
    probably the way this set up is. :shrugs:

    I tried both this and the new 2021 OX Brake Hydra Pro on my 2017 350 xc-f with the Radius CX.....I'm sorry but the Ox is so much better in every way. It's a smaller and more ergonomic package, better Magura 1 or 2 finger lever, works on an independent system from the foot brake, and installs WAY easier. I still LOVE my Radius CX though! haha

    • @louisburford7660

      Hi do you have a link for the OX one please

    • @JoshStreetDesign
      @JoshStreetDesign Před 2 lety

      The good thing about the ox is you can keep your foot brake... However I have since shifted over to a KTM brembo master clutch cylinder as a left hand rear brake and got rid of the foot brake entirely. They also sell a regular braided brake line for it. This option is far superior to any other option out there way better than the ox brake as well it's just perfect breaking power. But to do that you have to have handle bar room if you are also retaining your clutch. The ox brake is a good compromise as it barely takes up any room

    Not sure if Rekluse will ever see this. But it is a fact that even your 3rd gen (which I have) is still a bitch to bleed and is "squishier" than the OK Hydro. I've now tried both and the OX is superior in every way, for less money. Maybe the feel is squishy cause I couldn't get ever bubble out of the system. But that is still just another point in the OX's corner. Since it comes sealed. Until things change. there is Zero reason to buy a more expensive Rekluse LHB than the OX Hydra/o?. unless the hydraulic version isn't available for your bike.
    BTW. Rekluse. Your auto clutches are the best ever. and worth every dollar and I put them on all my bikes.

      @@RekluseMotorSports I will contact you next week. Trying my LHB on a buddies bike and same issue I have. It will lock up the rear. But I have to pull it almost all the way in. I don't mind a little "feel", but the system is just to squishy. It's now been on a YZ, KTM, and honda. I've pushed the fluid back and forth between the syringes several times. All the air seems to be out. But then I pull the lever and it takes half the pull just to get the tire to slow. down. I just don't see why it would be any worse than my front brake. Which isn't even to touchy on the KTM. I'll contact you guys to see what I can find out.
