I heard this song as I was leaving my oncologist office and hearing my cancer has become stage 4. This floored me. I couldn’t have imagined any better song. I have fought this cancer for 5 years,had 5 surgeries and now I’m going to die. I have not cried since I got the news 5 years ago. This broke the wall I was trying to hide behind and released my soul to finally cry for myself.
Starve it, fast for 7 days
Well that would make this easier since I am a diabetic and I would last maybe two or three days. I’m also bedridden because of the cancer surgeries and a spinal cord injury 30 years ago. Also if you think fasting is going to cure stage 4 vulvar,rectal and cervical cancer,more power to you! I on the other hand,live in the real world and have suffered with the effects of this disease every day for years. I’ve had all of my internal female organs removed,all of my outer genitalia and parts of my rectum and colon removed. My 80 year old husband still works so we can afford my treatment and still pay rent because my 350.00$ a month in disability doesn’t even cover the cost of 1 prescription. I am overwhelmed with guilt because I am a burden to my family. This isn’t the life we planned for and after 45 years together we thought we would be enjoying grandchildren,great grandchildren and puttering around in the garden. Now it’s pain,physical mutilation of my body and unending sadness for what could have been.

This song made me cry so much I lost grandad and sister in 2016, my mum in 2017 my dad in 2020 then in 2021 my ex threatened to kill me and my kids then 2022 my neice took her own life and ny nephew died last year I've got ptsd depression and bad mental health. This song hit me
