Storm needs her origin story movie, like yesterday
With Alexandra Shipp from X-Men: Apocalypse
As much as I want that, I feel like she needs a tv series to show everything she went through, from her parents meetings to raising her, to gaining PTSD & growing up as a theif, etc. her origin history is just too deep and rich to be put into a 2 hour movie... It’s so much more important than most other heroes stories

This is more "First 10" than top, she's had killer costumes the past few years that deserve to be here. But glad to see Marvel thinking of Storm regardless.
In the list, i find only 4 worthy of being mentioned:
The three first, and the 8'th as an honorary place for being over-the-top.

Aww, you missed so many of her amazing recent ones, better than most of these. Her Xmen Red Costume is amazing and Kris Ankas Redesign really paved the way for her to change up her style.

@@maxwebber664 that may be subject to change... During the 90s there was no challenger to Storm. Even WW wasn't in her league. As evidenced by the DC/Marvel popularity contest... I mean crossover event, which pitted Storm VS Wonder Woman with fan votes deciding the victor.... WW got easily defeated.
Would Storm still be no 1... As a die hard fan I want to say yes. But realistically WW may have reclaimed that position.
@@LordBraddington yes I agree with you on ww part, but after Xmen movies under Marvel Cinematic Universe with continues advertising of Storm, her brief appearance in Xmen movies black panther movies cameo in Avengers movie sometime in wolverine movie for like 10 years straight. I bet Storm will be most recognised female superhero we know and we love.
daniel viana She definitely Rocks. But She’s not More Popular than Spider-Man, Hulk, Captain America, or Thor. Not even Wolverine. She definitely is the second or third most Popular X-Men member.
I always found her X-Men Evolution costume the best. It's the perfect combination of her base look and a combat outfit.
I'd say that's the best outfit she had. Maybe because it's easier on the eye and not that much extravagant as the rest of her outfits.
I like her outfit on Wolverine and the X-men cartoon as well. It's a bit sexier with her bare shoulders and she wears the traditional crown. But the rest of the costume is pretty much covered up like her X-men Evolution costume.
The one she's currently wearing is legendary in my opinion. Second only to the classic white and punk costumes.

FYI Storm was born in Harlem in the United States. Her father's family is from the U.S. Her mother's side is from the continent of Africa. Princess Ororo Munroe is of ADOS and African lineage. She's a decedent of Slaves that are responsible for building one of the most powerful and richest nations on the planet. Her mother is of royal and magical lineage. Storm is a witch and goddess.
Her Ex-husband and now boyfriend (It's complicated) King T'Challa aka Black Panther rules over the most advanced and one of the richest nations in the Marvel Universe.

I just love her X-Men Red Costume. It still sticks with her OG color scheme, and its a much more practical suit for flight and battle considering her power set. Her hair back and in a ponytail with a crown keeping her hair in place, and the costume just makes her look like the elegantly beautiful queen we knew her to be. Just beautiful.
Ome of my favorite Marvel characters ever!! My favorite ones are no.1and no. 6 .. also i love when she rocks a pony tail in some episodes of the 90's animated series.
Her first look is definitely my favorite and the Mohawk perhaps.

Aside from her Gold Team costume, I loved Storm's 1st Xtreme X-Men costume, from #1-24 and 2k1 Annual. That was my favorite team look for her group of X-Men.

I like #6 the Silver/White. It’s iconic for Storm and has great contrast to her skin tone. It makes her stand out among the other mutants, as she should be. Her long white/silver hair also makes her look more like a sorceress. The Mohawk on her is terrible.
#6 is my fave costume! It's the most iconic to me thanks to the 90s series.

Yeah, except both those costumes are actually black, this guy clearly doesn't know what he's talking about. This is the first time anyone has ever called the short hair costume gray, and the "silver" costume is by far the most misunderstood costume in history. Jim Lee designed it black but due to his stylized inks everyone thought it was silver. So much so that the cartoon got it wrong and made it white. It totally looks better silver (or charcoal the way Jim Lee used to color it on his 90's X-Men cards) but in truth it's actually black.
Can never go wrong with the first costume. Return to that one!

Looking at Storm and her powers reminds me of that scene In x-men the last stand when she tells Rogue that they don't need a cure because there is nothing wrong with them.

I feel like the message is always completely twisted, she's not saying don't get the cure, she critisizes the fact thats its called a cure in the first place or that Rogue asks if they can be cured. In their universe its a completely normal thing they are born with, as she says there's nothing wrong with Rogue or any other mutant, there is nothing to "cure".
I don't know why this is twisted to "you shouldn't get it because I want you to suffer you're whole life", shes saying "There is nothing wrong with you, there is nothing to cure", she sure as hell wouldn't tell her not to get it as if she can't understand what Rogue has and will suffer through.
I feel that her X-Men: Red (current) look, Extraordinary X-Men look and her Marvel NOW! looks should all be mentioned here. The Marvel NOW! even has her mohawk

My favorite is the one she wore in Warren Ellis’ Astonishing X-Men run where it was a fusion of her classic and Jim Lee suits, with the classic look, except the tiara looks more like a crown, since she was Queen of Wakanda at that point, and it had the 90s costume’s white color scheme.
Awesome video! Please do a Top 10 for Storm's street clothes. She had some great ensembles in the 70s.

I love Storm. ❤Her costumes have been astonishing. But if I can just vent about the current state of Storm in the comics, I think the new "Marauders" story is cool but I would like it if one of the leaders of the X-Men; the goddess; the former Queen of Wakanda- Storm wasn't just some glorified bodyguard for Kitty Pride (or Kate). I get it's supposed to be for the omega level protection, but I feel her character is severely under-appreciated. I could understand if some B-list X-Men was doing that but COME ON! ITS STORM! What would people say if it was Cyclops? Otherwise, I am enjoying the story. I hope this Hickman era of comics, and Gerry Duggan as writer for "Marauders", continues to prosper and I'm excited to see how this story develops!🤓
