- Welcome to a week in my life in nursing school. I am currently a first semester nursing student (almost done) at ASU. This week shows some clinical and lab experiences as well as studying for an exam. I don't know why my end screen is so long (haha). Thanks for watching!

L&D is definitely where you have been heading since you were 18 months old!!
Did you get you pick where you were placed during clinicals? also, were you able to let them know which area you were interested in? that way you can gain experience in that area. thanks!
This is the program I am applying to and I'm so happy you posted this! It's so hard to find ABSN videos especially for the school you want!!
I'll be retaking the TEAS for a higher score, but my transfer courses look pretty good :)
I did have some questions though!! I'm not from Arizona and I was wondering about the following:
1. living on campus, off campus with roommates? Which city is best to live in?
2. Does ASU try to "weed" people our the first couple of months or do they really want their students to succeed?
3. Is it possible to work once a week in this program?
1) I lived off campus because I had cats and didn't want room mates. I would just live in the city closest to the program. You have to drive a lot for clinicals and simulations so I would avoid driving far for class.
2) I don't think they try to weed people out, but support is different based on professor and how much work the student is actually putting in.
3) Once a week, yes. But there are some weeks that are just too full, so I would suggest a very flexible job if you have to work.
That scooby doo mug is the best!
thank you!
How tough was it to get into the nursing program? I just heard about this new program at Havasu and am thinking of applying there.
Havasu is easier to get into than the downtown program but it is still competitive! I recommend meeting with an advisor to see where you would stand
may i pls know ur high school stats? tyyy :)
My high school stats were good but didn’t matter to nursing school as I have a previous bachelors degree. They just looked at my prerequisite gpa and my TEAS score, I hope that helps!
