Yaay congrats! I’ll be starting nursing this fall as well and hoping to document my experience on CZcams! ☺️
Thank you and congrats to you as well! I can’t wait to see your content and wish you the best of luck! 💖
Congrats!! I made a video like this too because I just got accepted into the nursing program for fall of 2021!!! I wish you the best of luck! So happy for you!
Thank you so much love and congrats to you as well! I wish you all the luck as well and we got this girl! 💓
Could you post an update on your nursing school journey?
This video has been super helpful so thank you! I wanted to ask if you are doing traditional or evening program. I want to have an idea on how the schedules may look like
I am doing the traditional program so right now are Mondays/Wednesdays 9-11:50am for lecture and Tuesdays 8-4:50 pm for lab. Currently we do not know when our clinical will be.
Congrats! I just got into the same program 😁
Thank you and congrats to you too! 💖
You should do video throughout the block! Along with your ASU courses!!!! I just score 91.50 on hesi and overall for CEP 87.51 when I calculated. I do have have a bachelor degree but I still need to take microbiology 205 but they said I can apply already as well. Im just really nervous and scare because idk if im ready.
Roughly what’s your cost of the tuition in total for ASU and Maricopa community college?
I plan to do videos throughout the block but not much has happened yet! I am going to do a video though on how the first semester of ASU was and all the costs starting off (it’s kind of a lot to break down)! 😊 I think everyone feels that way before applying but I knew this path was the one I wanted to go down and in the end my excitement outweighed my fear!
I’m from the Phoenix area and I’m doing my prerequisites and I’m curious which hospital you’re working at.
Congrats! I am so happy for you. Im about to apply for the program. Can you please share how long have you been in the waitlist? How well did you do on HESI A2? Do you finish your microbiology class before you get accepted? Can you share step by step and timeline please? Sorry, I have so many questions. I am on the process of applying and I am so lost. It is not much of information out there and I dont know who i can talk to.
Thank you.
Thank you and definitely I can make a timeline for you! I know how you feel because I was the same way and I wish I had someone explaining everything! 😭 I will make a video though explaining the steps to get in the program! 💗
@@janetteluna13 Thank you so so much. Maricopa told me the waitlist will be 2 years, did you really wait for 2 years? How many college did you apply? Did put in 5 college in Maricopa and do you get in your 1st college you wanna get in?
@@maayisme so I put in my application for the Maricopa nursing pool in the fall of 2019. I did get in earlier because I applied for the CEP program in January 2021! So if I did not apply for the cep program then I would still be on the waiting list for the regular RN program till the end of this year or even 2022. When I applied they said it was 2 years as well but I heard from some students that it can even be a 5 semester wait.
@@janetteluna13 oh wow, very nice that CEP program can get you in earlier. Did you get A for all prerequisites?
Did you have already have a degree when you applied for CEP? Did any other students get in without a prior degree?
Hey, you do not need a previous degree, although it gives you a few more points for CEP acceptance. People do get in without previous degrees!
Are you going to be working full time?
Right now I am full-time and I hope to be able to do full-time during school. Luckily, my job is very flexible so if I need to go down to part-time due to the workload then I can.
@@janetteluna13 did you end up going part time I start in august….
I’m trying to get into the CEP program as well. I still need to take my HESI, but I am getting worried about my GPA. It’s a 4.0 rn, but I might get a B in 2 of my classes…
If you don’t mind me asking, what was your GPA when you got accepted?
I applied and got accepted yesterday with a GPA 3.68
@@paolapalma8764 hi! I go to phx college rn. When will you start the nursing program? I’m applying at the end of this semester.
