This has been my dream forever. I decided to be a mom very young, today I’m 41 years old, have 4 beautiful children and a husband. I work full time. God has helped me to get to this point, I been accepted to the program starting on Fall, I don’t know how I’m going to do this. English is my second language and the writing is a problem for me. But I’m not going to backup, I’m going to keep trying as far God help me. Good luck to everyone. 🙏🏼

Hello Candy, me too, I’m 42 and I have my two kids and I’m also starting in the fall , I’m from Jalisco and yes as English being our second language it can be challenging but you know what, we at least made the decision to succeed and I know where going to be awesome, we got this!!! 🤗😊😊

Hi! I have been in your shoes before as well and I just finished my first semester at my local ADN program. There are times where you don’t feel like you’re enough but, if you think about it you’ve made it this far and you have it in you to finish. Make sure to practice self care during nursing school, it makes all the difference. From one Latina to another, YOU CAN DO THIS.
Just have to believe in yourself and have the drive to. Set yourself up for success by studying and also looking at the whole picture as much as possible. Nursing school is more nerve wrecking than it really should be. Just be honest and know your weaknesses, study, and keep at it. You got this!
I am a Latina too and in a very similar situation... Imposter syndrome is such a real thing but trust me.. You belong there and don't let anyone tell you different! Sometimes you gtta cry, scream and then put some Bad Bunny (or whoever you like)on get stuff done! You got this!! Good luck in your journey!!

Girl I STRUGGLED in school bc but I pushed thorough bc the time is going to go by NO MATTER what you do, so do something that you love-even if that means sacrificing your time to study and grind 👏🏽 Goodluck mamas
Hello!! I’m a Latina too, I’m 42 years old , I have a daughter of 25, and a 20 year old son and a grandson from my daughter, my son is going to our community college and will transfer to the University to be a mechanical engineer, and I made the decision to go to our community college to do the ADN program I’m so excited, yes a little nervous but I know I can do it, yes it will get hard at times but I’m going to give it my 200 % because I want to encourage my daughter on going back to school, and for my nephews and of course for myself!!! Yay 😁 so for anybody out there that’s doubting themselves, just do it!!! Look at me 42!! Come on, if I can so can you, just have faith 🙏♥️♥️♥️

This is like my second video of yours I watched and this video got my sub. I haven’t been accepted yet but I want to get ahead of the game because I’m only doing this ONE TIME. I have been running a rat race trying to find past syllabi and looking up what I can. This gives me a tangible start cause I was pulling stuff out the air! You are the goat for this. Other tips are like self care, know your learning style, xyz and while those are great tips, this one video gave a real damn answer! Thank you Darian!
I'm so glad I decided to watch this video. I will definitely use these tips! P.S. Nurse in the Making has a book that's like all of the sections of nursing school into one study guide. Mother/Baby, Peds, med/surg, etc.

You’re awesome!!!! This helps!!! I’m going to apply in CEP route beginning of next year but I’m really nervous just because I’m a slower reader. I think my confident of my reading is where I loose confident in myself of going to nursing school. I haven’t reviewed any anatomy and physiology for like 5 years but I still remember some of them but I don’t know how much do I need to know before I start my Nursing school. I do have a Bachelor in Health and Wellness. Can you let me know How much A&P do I need to know and what do you suggest with my reading?

Hi Darian, my name is Jessica Walker, and I took counseling 12 for the Fall semester of 2021in August 30, 2021, and my final grade I got a B, and I took speech class in the winter semester of January 4, 2022, to February 13, 2022, and now I'm taking 1 class in the spring semester February 14, 2022, to June 13, 2022, that class is Fundamentals of biology I'm a nursing student.

I dropped out of jr college because my grades were so low. I had 0.67 GPA (which is practically some Ds and mostly Fs. Never got high than a C, and that only happened once.) Never had a job and I'm 46 years old

I only studied a lot when i went for the fonce in your shoes before i was recommended to Mrs Josephine thats how i passed
I used some Uworld, some Remar, and read a lqqil saunders. I did 3 nurse achieve examsirst time last year at but the second time was f easy, all thanks to my aunt who introduced me to Mrs Josephine am really grateful
Nclex test has made me loose a lot also made my husband divorce me am so depressed I don't know what to do.
