Linus thinks he's better than everybody, to answer your initial inquiry when the video started....
Simply using the Ryzen's on-board GPU would have better matched the description of "Cheapest Ryzen 7000 Build Possible". The idea being: initially spend a bare minimum amount of money, to first get up and running, then add in other upgrades later, as added funds become available.
I guess if you want a office pc
Where is the onion
R7 5800x3D $420, deepcool gammaxx air cooler $20, crucial 2x16gb 32gb $70, Gigabyte b550 dsh $90, team 2tb nvme $138, SAMA 3d midtower case $60, Evga 850w psu $84, and power color rx 6800 $613, totaling $1,495. Would you rather have R5 7600x build?
Yes cause I can go Zen 5 in future
You would have to get a new mobo and ram (and possibly psu) if you want to upgrade the cpu in the future. With 7600x, you just need to plop a new cpu and you are done. no need mobo+ram change.
The advantages today: the Best gaming cpu on AM4, 16gb more ram, 1tb more storage, rx 6800xt vs 6650 xt, MB is not an issue with proper cooling/airflow, and evga 850w psu can handle upcoming rx 7900 xt with no problem. That's good for the life of AM5. I can just do the same at the end of AM5 at a discount like now. Your saying these specs at any resolution is not objectively better in every way compared to the cheapest R5 7600x build?
@@DanielLopez-qh6ji 😮💨 Advantage today, HUGE disadvantage tomorrow. If I already have AM4 system like 3600 THEN just adding the 5800X3D is great. But If i were to buy new, better think of the future where I can still upgrade to something without having to change the mobo+RAM+PSU later on. But you do you. I wont reply to this anymore.
You can cut that by a lot more just going intel 5800x3d make no sense at the price for a 8 core now
Amd needs to be careful with the board and cpu pricing. Its getting to the point where intel was years ago. Amd was all about price/performance. It was always the best deal. Its not anymore.
If im upgrading today, id be looking for an intel system, thats for sure.
You could have gotten the DDR5 RAM (32GB DDR5-5600) for free and $40 off of the CPU/Motherboard combo - at MICROCENTER. That's like a $220 savings, and definitely makes up for the price difference in the platforms.
👍👍👍👍
What was the final cost? I did not listen to all of this...
dirty cheap in usa ,+25% more in europe
@@Rokim1983 Euro is worth more than the Dollar
can I get an awe yeah?
No
Somehow I feel like a really, really, really cheap human beaing for using a $39.99 CPU Cooler for a 300 dlls New Gen CPU.
first
not because it's the cheapest, it's worth building... an i5 10400f can run that rx 6650 xt without bottleneck 🤦♂🤦♂.
Amd Am5 now givig away free DDR5 5600mhz 32gb Ram. at Microcentre. Just 5 day later after launch..lol how Shameful Amd had become..nowaday..😂😂.
