Today I'm sharing some of my tips and experiences with homeschooling multiple children, of multiple ages, who are in multiple grade levels. It can feel super daunting to think about homeschooling more than one child, but it's totally possible. I have an 11 year old, 3.5 year old, newly 2 year old and 4 month old at home! To say the last few months of homeschool has been a challenge is an understatement! Thank you for sharing and admitting truths and helping us all see that the days are not supposed to be perfectly smooth when you have littles running around but to also be okay with that season because it will be gone so quickly

Yes girl! It is never perfect! But schedules or some kind of plan- is a game changer! Big hugs to you!!!!

One of the best things I have done is delegating breakfast/lunch/snack preparing to my oldest kids. They know what they are generally allowed to do. They're on a rotation of who makes what when, and they enjoy the pride of choosing and preparing lunch. I like giving them something to do when I'm not working with them directly. They generally will eat together and then I'll just make my own lunch when I'm ready. But it's so much easier! I usually have fruits and vegetables cut up early in the week so they just set those containers out, make a sandwich or "snack plates" or yogurt etc and it is so nice for me!

Hi!! I have 5 littles, and we have been homeschooling for 7 years. My oldest will be going into the "7th grade"! I loved your video! We can never get enough encouragement or ideas!

Love this! I am a relatively seasoned homeschooling mom. We’re halfway through our 7th year. You’re absolutely right, it’s an ever evolving thing. I have 4 kids, ages 12, 8, 5, and 3 with one on the way. I’m always learning how to better do things to better suit our family. ❤️

Oh my word, I am so grateful that I found your video. It sounds like we are in similar stages with very similar kids. The only difference is that my youngest is 9 months (but also very busy). Thanks for your pointers!

Commenting again to say that I’m a Michigander (now residing in Tennessee) and it’s nice to hear someone who has my “accent” 🤣

I saw a post from you on Instagram and almost commented on there but decided to see if you had any videos about it, and this was perfect. I’m struggling here with an 11, 6, 3 and 10 month old and homeschooling. It definitely feels like a circus here frequently 😂 but at least I’m learning what does and doesn’t work lol. For example, I can’t really have my 11 and 6 year olds doing their own work in the same room because they just goof off and try to make each other laugh, so I’ve had to separate them now 😅. Anyway, thanks for video, I did get some good ideas from it.

This was super helpful, thank you Jamie! I’m “only” technically homeschooling my two kids who are 14 and 10, but I also have a Dayhome and care for 5 kiddos who are 15 months to 5 years old during the day, during the week. It’s a lot and it’s great to see how other people do it. It’s helpful that the small ones in my house go home at 5:00 though and then we can catch up on anything that got missed that day if we have to.

We just started homeschooling this year. I love the musical multiplication. I'll have 3 of 4 kids homeschooling next year. Our house is not super big, do you have any tips for not letting homeschool take over the house?

I’m wondering if the LDS roots of the good and the beautiful have posed any issues for you as an evangelical Christian homeschooler? So interesting that scripture is used in the science resource, I’m curious if you feel it was properly handled?
Would love to hear you speak to this topic as it has been my biggest hang up in using this curriculum.. But I see a lot of evangelical Christian youtubers utilizing it so it makes me curious! Thanks :)

I have used TGTB over the years on and off and have never seen anything that wasn't "general Christian content" - virtues, honoring God, etc... I have never seen anything LDS specific. I believe they have content on their website to explain their statements of faith?
