I love your videos.. I was a homeschool momma of five. Now all grown and have families of their own... My two sons are both paid firefighters. Two of my daughters are cna in a local nursing home. One is a stay at home momma.. I am a proud grandma to six grandbabies..
What a beautiful blessing from the Lord!
Glenda I love her channel too !
That is absolutely wonderful!! Praises to God God☺️
Love
Too much work on those poor kids
"We should align our lives according to the scripture and not according to the culture." Loved this.
Amen! Thank you!
That's so sad.
@silverstar603 what’s sad about it? We are quite happy.
Silverstar603 don’t watch
I totally agree on chores. We have 10 kids, all of whom were homeschooled and who did chores each day. They're all grown now and know how to work hard. Many of them have been amazed at how few other young people in their workplaces know how to work well. Of course I made mistakes as a mom, but the thing I am most glad we did was memorize Bible verses. No matter where our kids go, the word of God is in their hearts. And the word of God will not return void. And yes, let us not grow weary....that is one of my very favorite mothering verses!
Amen
Hello, I am new to homeschooling, I am interested in one question…how and where do the kids live when they grow up since they are not allowed to go out, party itd, where and how do they find their future spouse?
For now I have one son, I want to homeschool him and raise him conservative but I am worried he would end up weird / and or alone
I just realized that so many young girls don’t know how to cook because their parents are working all the time. But I’m so grateful to God that I got to be raised by my grandmother, cause she did take the time as she wasn’t working, to teach me step by step each thing, and cooking especially. I am so knowledgeable on home making and cooking because of her now. I never realized it until I watched your video. Thank you! And praise God!
That’s wonderful!
We have 3 boys so far (all under 7) and our goal is to teach them 5 easy meals they can make for their futures. There will be seasons when they’re off at college, or their wives have babies, or things are very busy where they should be able to cook a cheap and filling meal.
Very grateful for my mom and grandma being raised by God fearing women shaped me into a better person!
if your parents didnt work then you'd have no kitchen nor house to begin with
My mother was a stay at home mom but never taught me how to cook. She isn’t the most mentally stable individual, so I’m having my husband help me learn so I can be a better SAHM than my mother was. So far, I’ve found I’m very good at baking. :)
I am not married and have no children yet. However, I aspire to be a wife and mother, as well as homeschool. This video has me in tears, your family is so beautiful and you are an amazing mother. God bless you all ❤️
Thank you! ❤️
Maybe you could marry one of my sons who were homeschooled now rich with nice house good job as engineer
"A kitchen that feeds a family will get messy many times throughout the day" YES! Let's normalise that life and house are not always nice and shiny, picture-perfect like sometimes we are pushed to believe! Lovely video of you and your family.
I also agree with the fact that children should be given chores. Of course, measured to their abilities but if they don't learn at a young age, they will never learn, and also help them to be resilient and find happiness in accomplishing tasks.
So true!
I'm Muslim and I really love your videos it's so encouraging I think this is really the right way to raise children. we must teach them responsibility and to love and understand their religion
Reading a Proverb that corresponds to the day of the month… because there’s 31 Proverbs-that’s such a good idea!
I love it!
Hello, I am a new subscriber and to be honest with you I came across this video by accident. Your clothes is what made me want to watch as they remindef me of a time that no longer exists. I'm a Christian too, but do not follow what I should follow, still it warms my heart to see that there are families like you out there. You truly are a role model for all. You are a breath of fresh air to me. May God keep you and your family safe!!!
We try to teach our kids the traditional skills and roles, too, but we also see many skills as basic survival skills and want to make sure that both girls and boys know them in case they end up single or widowed or anything. Cooking, cleaning, doing laundry, using basic woodworking tools, splitting firewood, checking oils from the car etc.
Really nice content, happy that I found this channel!
We do this as well.
Even in urgent situations, like when the wife falls sick and the man needs to cook for her and the children, or the wife needs to fix something now, without the husband's presence

I'm a newlywed and a fairly baby christian. Idk how many children the Lord wil bless me with and my career as a medical doctor will probably make it impossible for me to homeschool but it's honestly one of my biggest dreams to be able to care for my kids this way.
You're blessed. Thank you for sharing! And may our Lord abundantly bless you and your family.
The Lord will guide your steps. The other day the nurse at my doctor told me she homeschooled her 7 children while working part time as a nurse, maybe this would be possible as a doctor as well. One step at a time. God bless you as well!
I homeschooled 4 kids who are 16,18,20,22 now. My husband was a pastor for over 10 years and we enjoyed serving on mission together. I had the desks and fun classroom too…I will always treasure those years and I’m so thankful that they all love the Lord, work hard, are in college, driving, serving, and are close. It was the best decision ever! Children are a blessing! 💕
Praise the Lord! So encouraging to hear stories like this!
That poem has me wanting to bawl!! Motherhood is so important to the people you are blessed with mothering😭😭
Amen!
New subscriber. I love you and your family beliefs. CZcams needs more CZcams channels like this. I wish I had this channel early in my marriage.
Welcome!! Thank you so much!
We tall our boys that everyone has to contribute to the home... that means helping with your chores and other items when needed.
Absolutely!
I was asking God what my purpose in life is , what can it be? This just showed me everything i wanted 😭I want this!💕
Praise the Lord! I pray He will guide you into His will through His Word!
As a traditional Catholic this video blessed me. My husband and I have a 2.5yo and a 14m old, and I’m 32 weeks pregnant. All boys. I was home schooled and am so excited to do so. We have a room in this house we plan to set up as a classroom. Where did you get your darling school desks??! We also learned piano with those Faber and Faber books. This video was oddly nostalgic for me! Encouragement and peace to you mama. I am also really trying to work on myself but it is hard. I find it helpful to remind myself that there will never be an “ideal” time (like when the baby is older, when pregnancy is over, etc) and I need to just start now.
Also I was not raised with homemaking skills and it has been a serious learning curve. 100% agree with your traditional views and if we have girls we plan to do things differently than with our boys.
Random Q what is a traditional catholic vs a regular catholic?
I met a lady at the park with 12 kids a few weeks ago saying she was a traditional catholic. I didn't have time to ask lol
@@slee7991Simply put, a 'traditional Catholic' is a Catholic who attends the traditional Latin Mass (as opposed to the new Mass - 'Novus Ordo' - formulated after the Second Vatican Council).
@@sarahp3144I was also not raised with many homemaking skills and boy has it been a learning curve! I have a 6, 3, and 1 year old and I feel like I’m just now getting a handle on being a homemaker (although I worked outside the home until my second baby was born, but still!). Best wishes to you with your new baby on the way! Three little ones can be chaotic haha but it’s fun ☺️
@@jaimemorgan5323I could add to that definition a little because I too am a traditional Catholic. It is someone who assists at the traditional Latin Mass and believes in the Baltimore Catechism or traditional doctrines of the Catholic Church. In an age when even the doctrine of the real presence of Christ in the Holy Eucharist is most often disregarded, we hold fast to it. We also reject innovations like the latest encyclicals like Feducia Suplicans.
Blessings!
I was welling up watching this with your VoiceOver of the poem and the scripture as your daughter was cleaning the kitchen. I have a sense that she has such a beautiful and gentle spirit. Praying for you and your family as you strive after God. Thank your for sharing this, from a homeschool mum of 2 (and hopefully more in the future!) from the UK!
Our families are so similar. It is wonderful and encouraging to see more families living this way. Thank you so much for your videos they are so encouraging.
You are so welcome! Praise the Lord!
Such a God filled home filled with love and deep admiration of his word. 🙏🏼
Thank you!
Your videos are so encouraging for me. Sometimes I replay them when I'm having a tough day with my kids. Thank you!
I'm so glad! Praise the Lord!
This video totally rocked. I found myself constantly shaking my head yes and agreeing with everything you said, even as a dad of 3. Keep the faith and fight the good fight!
Thank you!
What a sobering poem!! It certainly adds to the urgency of stewarding these little lives well. Thank you for sharing it.
Thank you for sharing, I really enjoyed a glimpse into your day!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you for taking the time to make this video for us. Your schedule is full and I appreciate how you were able to share with us.
You are so welcome!
I am in awe. I imagine it to be hard to homeschool through pregnancies and nursing, you look like you’re doing an amazing job with your children
Thank you so much!! There are definitely hard days, but it’s so worth it!
Hooray! Your video is so encouraging. Thank you so much just what I needed today.❤
Praise the Lord! I’m so glad!
Love this. Thank you for sharing. You’re such a great mom!
Thank you so much!
Thank you for reminding of the blessed gift of family, motherhood, and homemaking❤😊
Praise the Lord!
Beautiful and inspiring video! You spoke on many things that are issues in my home. I'm so glad this came up as a suggestion. We were just finishing meal time and I turned on your video as I cleaned. You inspired me to invite my two kiddos to join me and they were inspired to help. Truly a God moment. No fussing, no arguing, just happy helpers😊. They commented on how they liked the music. Thank You. We'll be back! Blessings on you and your family. ❤
Praise the Lord! So happy to hear this!
I love this. So encouraging
Thank you!
Wow I so appreciate this. I have a toddler and a baby and am planning to have a big family. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and what you recommend. It’s so helpful for those of us who aspire to live the way you do and it gives me someone to look up to and learn from. Especially because I didn’t grow up this way at all❤
Praise the Lord!
This is absolutely beautiful!!! This video made me cry in a good way. Please keep creating content that is so uplifting, real and Godly. God bless you sister!! We homeschool too and I dress modestly as well. ❤
Thank you, I will definitely try to get more content out of the Lord wills. So thankful it was a blessing!
Amen, thank you for raising these lovely children in their biblical roles!! I love seeing sisters who do the same! And veiling!!! Glad I found your channel, I had tagged along with your blog after finding veiling info and I’m glad you are doing this channel now!
Thank you so much! Glad you are here!
Beautiful ❤️! I love the scripture reading 💕
Thank you! 🤗
@@Abiding_Home 💕💜 you are welcome
Thank you for sharing your lovely family! I'm not a mom or wife yet, but this is so inspiring!
Thank you so much!
I love this! In my 4th year homeschooling. The Lord has shaped and molded me in many ways through it, but I’m realizing it’s so worth doing in spite of challenges. Wishing I had started sooner. Thanks for the video!
You’re so welcome!
Thank you for your videos. They are so edifying and encouraging as a young wife and Mama to be. We need more exhortation to teach our sons and daughters to follow the roles given to them in God's Word. It is truly sad that our society hates this, but even sadder still that some in the church do as well. Thank you for sharing your life with us.
Thank you! I’m so thankful they are an encouragement to you.
BEAUTIFUL! I strive to raise my family this way
Your channel is a breath of fresh air. Thank you ❤️
Thank you!
I pray it’s feasible for you to put out content on a regular basis because it was very comforting to hear your voice and words of wisdom in the spirit of titus2
THIS is how kids are to be raised, absolutely wonderful! 🙏 And very good filmmaking, too!
You are so kind! Thank you!
This seems to be a very isolated,, insulated and traditional way to live. My daughter's travel, graduated college s f law and nursing school ...I can not fathom raising them to cook, clean and marry and have babies. There is so much more to life.
@@geoffcaflisch1352 Just because you think it’s “insulated and isolated” doesn’t mean it is for them. Every family is different. Stop thinking everyone wants to go to college. Let’s not be negative.
This was an excellent video. Very well done. We just watched it as a family.
Praise the Lord! I’m so glad you all enjoyed it! ❤️ We miss you guys!
So blessed by this video. ❤
Thank you!
Sister ,your channel is being a blessing from God for me . May God bless you and your amazing family ❤😊
Thank you! God bless you also.
Love and agree with everything you spoke on! Stay uncompromising dear one!

THANK YOU FOR VIDEOS THERE VERY SIMPLE, GRACEFUL .
So encouraged to see your lives. Was a homeschool Mom to my two children. Enjoyed this time in our lives greatly and thank the Lord for it. It is gone to fast!! All 10 of my grand babies are homeschooled and am so thankful for this. May God continue to bless your dear family!!! And All Godly parents at this time in there lives.
"Align our lives to the Scripture not the culture." I love that❤amen.
you're amazing! God bless you! Train up a child in the way he should go, so when he is old, he will not depart from it - this is all that ran through my spirit. i admire the modesty and lifestyle!
Thank you so much!
Thank you for sharing your life with us. Such a great encouragement.
Thank you!
thank you so much for sharing this. God bless you and your family
This is so beautiful 😭
Thank you!
I think this is great, and you’re a really good mom. If your children express different beliefs or identities than your own, please be open, and love them no matter what.
Absolutely! I will always love them, but will also always encourage them to what is best for their souls.
Wow this was beautiful and amazing!! So glad I found you, truly inspiring!!

I'm a homeschooling mom of 8 kids too! 💓
Thank you! That’s awesome, it’s truly a gift!
Hi there. New subscriber here. Love your content. Your voice is so soothing. I so agree 💯 about kids having chores. I am a SAHM homeschool mama of 4. (18,16,11,6) They have had the responsibility of chores
From a small age. I think it’s an important skill set to give them. It helps the household as a whole and teaches them for adulthood. Thanks for sharing your journey and can’t wait to watch more. Much love from our family to yours. ❤ # 6breakingloose 🇨🇦

I really love it! Please keep recording this amazing videos to encourage the world.
Thank you, Lord willing I will.
That poem was so beautiful!
I love that poem too!
Amen. Thank you for sharing this. I completely agree with children having responsibilities. It teaches them for when they grow up and have their own home. We are a family I’m not their maid. God Bless You and Your Family.

Thank you so much for taking the time to minister to us. I didn't meet Jesus until age 35 (grew up in the world); therefore, I need a look into what a Christian life looks like. Thank you.
Praise the Lord for salvation whenever it happens! I’m so thankful that this encouraged you!
Thank you for sharing your lives with us. Your encouragement is extraordinary, the motivation I've gained is priceless. Bless you, your family and your future videos to come! ❤️
Praise the Lord! I’m so thankful!
This is beautiful thanks for sharing.
Keep doing more when you have free time we want more Christ centred videos like these God bless you momma
Thank you, I will! ❤️
It is wonderful to see the head coverings on your daughters, very rare to see in today's world! Hoping you post more, I love the encouragement from mother's of large families :)
The Bible doesn’t say anything about children head coverings/ and women should cover when the pray .
Bible says our long hair is our covering. But if they wanna wear frilly material on their heads, meh. Doesn't take anything away from the salvation message.
@@Penelope-2020 There are verses in 1 Corinthians that refer to headcoverings, more than just our hair. I do agree it is not an issue of salvation - just a different way to show our honor to God. To each their own :)
Thank you so much!

Мы живём так, будто глядим на себя глазами Христа и Отца Бога, и чувствуем, как такая жизнь к его душе. Absolutely love this channel, great content x
I am glad I watched this video. It is such a blessing and inspiration to me😊. Thank you sister.
Watching people like this makes me so happy knowing i didnt grow up around any type of religion. For me it all looks like, manipulate young people, to force them to believe in something, i believe in that if you truely wants your kids to believe in something, they can/should choose that them self as they grow up, not force it into their brain.
Anyone watched Bill burs white-black stand up? Anyone remember his church? Ye thats this xD
I actually mean no hate, but for me who's parents gave me a choice this doesnt look right. But we all grow up different aswell, different cultures maybe? No idea.
The Bible commands parents concerning children “… bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord.” (Ephesians 6:4 NKJV)
““Therefore you shall lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul, and bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates, that your days and the days of your children may be multiplied in the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers to give them, like the days of the heavens above the earth.”
(Deuteronomy 11:18-21 NKJV)
Yes! Chores are a part of life. Our kids are expected to help with their own laundry and linens, take turns cleaning their own bathroom, and take turns with me sweeping and dishes after meal time. They also take turns with us to feed dogs and horses and work with me to clean the horse pens. I also have them help me with the garden. They help my husband with the orchard tasks too as well as some mechanic and irrigation tasks. All valuable life skills. We don’t have TV, only some dvds and those are a treat and not as a way to pass hours of time. If they are “bored” they are sent outside and if they can’t find something productive to do like target practice or football, basketball or other outside play then they risk getting a new chore lol reading and board games are a favorite for bad weather days.
Yes, chores when they are “bored” is a real boredom killer. lol Thanks for sharing what your family does! I love hearing how other mamas get things done.
What a precious it is. I'm a Brazilian homeschooler mom e I'm so glad I found this video. God bless you all.

Thank you! Lord willing I will post more.
All women should know household skills regardless of what The Lord calls them to do!
Absolutely!
I'm pretty sure you mean all PEOPLE.
@@thezoolibrarian7820 I'm pretty sure she meant exactly what she said. She never excluded men in her comment, you just got offended for no reason.
@@doll.ov.poetrii4682 I never said I was offended. In general, the whole "Christian/homemaking/homeschooling" situation is set up to be gender biased. It can be assumed that when some one makes this type of comment, they may not, in fact, be including men in their thinking. These videos speak for themselves.
I just stumbled upon your channel. I’m an Orthodox Jew and was blown away that you read the “shema” prayer. “Hear Israel”. This is the first prayer we teach our children and we say it twice a day and before we die. During Holocaust Jewish children were hidden in monasteries and after the war, the Jewish community was able to extract the Jewish children by the means of this prayer, because many, many Jewish children knew this prayer since the age of 2, 3 or 4. In the beginning, when we say “Hear Israel”, it is a custom to cover eyes with a hand. When the person looking for Jewish children in monasteries started reciting this prayer aloud, the children who were Jewish instinctively covered their eyes and so this person knew that these children were Jewish.

I raise my children differently also! Ive touched on this in my yt video! I want my girls to be at an advantage to be the keepers of their home as scriptures says! Yes it may ruffle feathers but most of Scripture does! ❤
Yes! It’s sad that it ruffles feathers because it’s truly a beautiful path!
@@Abiding_Home Completely Agree ❤️
Why bother to educate girls at all then ? This is sad and so limiting.
@@lauramcclain8651 it actually opens up a lot for them! Especially in this society when most women/girls don't even know how to cook, clean or raise children. Is that the only path for them maybe not but they will learn the art of homemaking because that is scripture ❤️

Nothing wrong with teaching girls to be good wives and mothers. Not sure when that changed in society.
So true!
Why? Why glamourising the past and the patriarchy?
I’m not glamorizing anything, just showing what our normal Christian modern life looks like and encouraging other Christian women. Biblical patriarchy done correctly is a blessing to women: it cherishes, protects, and strengthens them.
@@Abiding_Home I’m genuinely sad for you. This is not what anyone should follow or take as role model!!!
This is truly dangerous especially for your children.
@@user-cm6lg5eo9x In Eden that was Adam’s greatest sin and why God held him accountable and all throughout the Scripture it is referred to as”Adam’s sin” because Adam did not lead and protect his wife and this is why women can not preach in the churches bc Eve was deceived and not Adam. It seems Adam knew full well it was wrong and wasn’t deceived but instead blatantly disobeyed God. “Let a woman learn in silence with all submission. And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence. For Adam was formed first, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression.”

@@user-cm6lg5eo9x In the Gospels and early church women were very valuable as they still are in the Church today, but they do serve in different roles. Notice that there were no woman Apostles nor was a woman chosen to be one of the 12 disciples. Jesus valued women, but he did not choose them as leaders.

Do your kids have any fun? Do they go on play dates? Or go out to the shops or other outside activities? It seems all they do is work or school. What happens if your girls grow up and don’t get married? What are they going to do? I hope you letting them have some fun outside whatever cult your with.
who says theyre with a cult,
sounds like a godly christian family to me
They are a wonderful godly family. They aren’t in a cult, rather a wonderful church that has been a tremendous blessing to our family.
Their head covering is only worn in the Amish or Mennonite church and they also dress modestly. I can not anywhere on their Facebook or Instagram which church they belong to.
@julienyholm1056
I've known plenty of families that feel convicted to wear the head coverings and aren't in an Amish or Mennonite church.
Funny how a godly family is accused of being in a cult, but those who follow the whims of the world and bow down to political correctness are viewed as normal. I'd say the latter is more a cult than anything!
Kinda creepy how you're trying to track down the location of this family, through their church. 🧐
We have lots of fun and play and go many places outside of our home. This is a video just under 30 minutes of a day at home, not a look at our entire life, but even in this video we played games and a few of my children went and stayed the night with their grandparents who attend a different church than us and do not dress like us. Yet we love them dearly and spend much time with them! That is not how cults do things. I’m not sure what your definition of a cult is, but we are Bible believing Christians who believe we are saved only by Jesus’ work on the cross and not by any of our own good works. We live and dress the way we do because we love the Lord and want to obey Him. Also if my girls do not marry then I have also prepared them to serve God in their singleness and with many different skills to provide for themselves. One of my daughters is on track to be a midwife or ultrasound tech because she loves women and babies, so you really have misjudged us. I pray you can have a change of heart.
Oh Lord. You are the problem. Poor kids!
“Let God arise, Let His enemies be scattered; Let those also who hate Him flee before Him. As smoke is driven away, So drive them away; As wax melts before the fire, So let the wicked perish at the presence of God. But let the righteous be glad; Let them rejoice before God; Yes, let them rejoice exceedingly.”
Psalms 68:1-3 NKJV

I hear your message and love it, however, I can’t get on board with sharing your children. You could have focused on their hands and or feet as they were working. My daughter has 7, she homeschools and owns her own business and grows her family in the Lord. She keeps hers far from the internet, You can let your children be the hands and feet of God without showing them fully. They deserve their privacy and that wouldn’t change your message. I wish you success in your endeavor both with your family and your business. But I do pray you will limit your children’s exposure. May God bless!
Thank you for sharing your opinion. We all have different convictions on how much to share when it comes to our children. I never share anything my children do not want me to share, and I ask them if they want to be in the videos. I also don’t share their names. This is where we are for now.
I’ll make one more comment just for your consideration. Please don’t think I’m criticizing you to be mean. Just want you to have food for thought bc it’s absolutely none of my business how you raise your family. But children can’t give informed consent. They don’t have the ability to fully understand what the risks are or how comments from others may affect them. Also, children shouldn’t be responsible for bringing income into the family. Thats a heavy burden. If you think the children aren’t necessary for the content then don’t use them. Again, I’m on your side. I truly want you to be successful. If they are in the back ground here and there it’s one thing, but if they are the content then it’s a job. Just my opinion. Blessings
I appreciate your input. It will always be something I consider and pray about. Many channels share their lives with their children and monetize and I have never thought they were doing anything wrong, unless they were showing something that would shame their child like bad behavior or embarrassing moments.
Thank you, Stacey!! I wish I could send you a thank you card or letter for all the work you've done, especially on your blog! I feel as if I am some years behind you on the same journey; we just had baby #6 and God is teaching me since last year the beauty of headcovering. Thank you for being a sister in Christ who I can glean from. Thank you for following His guidance and for sharing! 💕
Praise the Lord! It’s all of Him.
I hope you grow your channel!!! This video has been such an inspiration to me in this season of motherhood ❤
Thank you! I’m so glad! ❤️

Oh wow. I start my day by doing the proverbs with the corresponding date ❤🎉
I love it! No matter how many times you read, there is always a new lesson to learn.
