Everybody can claim that they are a qualified journalist. And even if they are trained journalists, they are not necessarily good at their job. I have read a lot of misinformation from journalists.
I know you all likely have drastically different takes on this, so let me know your thoughts! Have you found an unbiased agency you'd recommend? Have you had family or friends that were dug into a trench of misinformation?

The problem is that CRITERION is not an innate trait, it's difficult to obtain and retain. Many people rather live without it altogether anyway, truth hurts sometimes. However, "trained" is a tricky concept, a double edged sword, maybe you put too much faith in that adjective. Lies from "trained professionals" have always been around, even from "expert" scientists. Ever heard of Sylvain Lesné?
