    Just short presentation of a project that started in 2015 and is almost completed.
    In this video is shown some of the unique features from a Skoda 130 LSE , but also how the cars runs and performs .

    Felicitari pentru perseverenta si pentru rezultatul final. O mica completare: martorul de frana din bord de care vorbeai era standard inca de la lansarea liniei 105/120 in 1976; era de fapt un bec conectat la un intrerupator care ramanea cuplat in cazul in care pedala de frana a ajuns la o apasare puternica intr-o pozitie periculos de aproape de capatul cursei, neavand rezerva de franare (la functionarea defectuoasa a mecanismului de auto-reglare saboti spate, la o pompa frana cu uzura excesiva etc). Functia de 'test' a becului respectiv (de care ziceai ca este specifica modelului LSE) s-a implementat de fapt ca standard incepand inca de la modelul '82 (modelele fabricate la sfarsit de '81 cu faruri ovale/manere usi exterioare plastic/stergatoare vopsite in negru si alte mici retusuri de facelift). Incepand cu acest model butucul de contact mai avea o pozitie intermediara intre functia 'contact/aprindere' si pozitia 'demaror' - care pozitie intermediara aprindea lampa respectiva ca masura suplimentara de verificare periodica daca becul respectiv functioneaza. Alte schimbari ale modelului '82 au fost dozaje carburator usor modificate pentru a indeplini normele de poluare usor mai exigente (la vremea aceea se masura doar procentul de monoxid de carbon CO din gazele emanate); tot pentru poluare s-a montat bobina cu rezistenta aditionala (piesa alba de pe bobina) - care rezistenta era bypass-ata la pornire prin conexiune directa in timpul actionarii demarorului, insonorizare suplimentara catre spatiul motor si in dublura plafonului, rotile pe 13" cu capace negre plastic, alternator standard de 42A si 55A pe LS/GLS (initial 35A era standard pe 105S/105L/120 si 120L si 42A pe 120LS/120GLS).
    Inca o data felicitari pentru proiect, inca regret faptul ca am renuntat la 120L-ul copilariei mele (a mers taica-miu vreo 200.000km cu ea si apoi si eu inca vreo 200.000km pana am dat-o ca sa iau altceva :( ).

      Hello dear friend , thank you , it's a GB car but was converted to left hand drive in the early 90's. I have bought the car in 2015 , more like a rust bucket, and after 3 years the car looks decent. I have watched a lot of videos from your youtube channel , I have also a mk1 Fabia and some of your repairs presented on your channel are very useful. Subscribed today , just to be on the safe side in case other problems appear on the fabia . I'm a DIY person like you :P

      Thank you , it is honest classic budget car , easy to maintain , gives you the feeling when driving that is more then a Skoda and very reliable . The bad things I will say are bad fuel consumption inside crowded cities , safety and not really able to cruise at more then 120 km\h in comfort .

      Hello dear friend, yes you are right . The keychain is from a old dealership from Thessaloniki , at least the address from the back of the keychain is suggesting this . Last year in 2018 , after I have rebuild the car , I have made to euro-trips with the 130LSE. One in Prague and one in Thassos . From each trip I have buyed some keychains to remind me of the trips :) .I was very lucky to find this greek keychain.

      @@KalashGarage WoW you do big trips with your 100series Škodas, i did some trips with my grandmas Favorit 135le but nothing compared to yours , i am happy to know that you actually visited Greece, here Škodas 100series are very rare and Favorits are getting rare too , unfortunately people scrapped most of them, the hot climate wasn't nice to these cars too. BTW your channel is great and thanks for replying !

      Thank you for the compliments . It's hard not to visit such a beautiful country and where people are so nice . I was talking with my wife after all this european trips and she said to me , that the best time that she had in a holiday was in Greece . And I always joke that this is due the fact we have made the trip with the old Skoda :P . Well for me it's a hobby , and I like to drive my cars as much as possible , and not keep them locked in the garage for long periods of time. As an example from 2018 until now I have covered 13500 km with the 130 LSE and 2500 km with the 120 L Skoda. Unfortunately I don't have any Favorit for the moment , but in case you need some mechanical advices please feel free to ask me .

      @@KalashGarage Thanks again for your good words mate, i want to ask a ton of things but first from what car can i find suspension, some even say Ford Focus in the front and Golf mk3 in the back, what is correct , i don't want to buy OEM ŠKODA ones because here they are too expensive!

      @@IgorGiganskiANtiatom I need first to ask some questions to some friends of mine . I don't have any mechanical background with the favorit , except the engine( I have installed on both of my RWD Skoda's favorit based engines) .

    Pěkná škodovka, jede fakt dobře! Kamarád jel se sériovou neupravenou Škodou Rapid 136 dokonce 200 km/h.

      Well it's pretty hard to achieve those performance with a stock engine .Also the speedometer on skoda is optimism .Even Though the speedometer was showing 180 in my video the GPS speed was 165!

    Lovely. My Mum owns this exact model but has the vinyl roof already. It is 'Autumn Yellow' factory colour. Owned for 20 years now! What was the top speed? Could not quite see clearly. I have taken my mum's 130 to 85 mph on the dial but as the previous owner was VERY slow driver it is still a bit reluctant to go fast. Don't want to break it!

      Well when i buyed my LSE in 2015 was beige with black vinyl roof , and as extra option has a lot of rust all over the place :D . I did not like the beige collor so I painted the car with white 1001 (also LSE color ) . The vinyl roof was impossible to save , so in the following days i will put on the roof car foil that imitate black vinyl . I had try to keep the car as original as possible as a LSE , but in Romania is pretty damn hard to find the correct car parts.Here we can find only parts for the communist models from 79 and 80 (the only years that Skoda was imported to Romania.) . I was pretty damn lucky to find for sale this LSE in Romania , and for the price of 150 Euro . The top speed of the original motor is 150 km/h or 92 mph. In my video the dashboard indicator shows 180 km/h or 112.5 mph , and the 5 speed kills all the fun :P .In fact the speedo is a bit optimistic , and the real GPS speed is 165 km/h or 102 mph . The entire restoration project , done by me 70% , had cost me 1800 Euro . Bellow i have attached a link with the restoration project . The video is 1 year old , so some of the latest updates are now shown in the video .

      @@KalashGarage Superb. Yes the vinyl roof has rust too. If I pull it off I then will have to clean up that mess underneath. Not fun. 102mph! That is excellent performance. Even my Rapid 136 did not reach that speed - 98 mph with 108 showing on the dial. I will check out the restoration video for sure and share. 130 LSE in the UK has velour seat covers for nice feel. Same as 120 LSE. But suffers with sun damage same as others. Also UK model has two interior lamps - my 105 only has one. 130 LSE really is a good car, but only thing was we were not liking the door capping. It stopped us pressing the lock button and having the car colour on the door top inside is nicer - but only a small thing.

      I have driving such a screwed-up 120 with a 4-speed gearbox from Poland to Spain and back maximum speed on Highway 120 maximum speed down the hill 150😂😊😂

      Multumesc , motorul e de 1.3 cu o putere aproximativa de 70 cp . Find varful de gama , cutia de viteza este cu raport lung , 3.9 raport final. Acest lucru se observa si in video in momentul in care schimb a 5 a , masina nu mai raspunde la fel de prompt la acceleratie . Daca era dotata cu o cutie cu raport final de 4.22 , in mod normal ar fi urcat mai rpd in viteza in toate treptele , inclusiv a 5 a , dar viteza de top ar fi fost mai mica.

    Chiulasa e din alminiu la motorul de 1.3? parca avea si radiator de ulei?
    Am avut si eu modelu 105, care a devenit 120 prin alezarea blocului si camasi de 120. Marea problema care am avut-o a fost lantul de distributie care s-a alungit f. repede neavand intinzator. pana la urma a fost un proiect abandonat.

      Salut , radiatorul de ulei era o optiune supliomentare in general pentru gama S100 si primul tip din gama S105 - 120 . Ai dreptate in cea ce priveste lantul de distributie , dar se schimba usor si durata medie de viata este undeva la 80000 km .

      Salut , sincer sa iti spun este prima data cand cineva ma intreaba acest lucru. Am avut o tentativa sa vand masina in 2018 chiar dupa ce am terminat procesul de reconditionare , si asta din cauza ca eram epuizat mental dupa 3 ani de lucru in continu la masina .Dar de atunci si dupa 16000 km de distractie lucrurile s-au cam schimbat. Masina este un unicat din multe puncte de vedere , mai exact este singura Skoda 130 LSE care a fost convertita de pe dreapta pe stanga din lume si este functionala :) .

      Salut , masina a avut volanul pe dreapta . In 1992 a fost adusa in tara din Anglia si a fost mutat volanul pe partea stanga impreuna cu blocul pedalier. In momentul de fata instalatia electrica impreuna cu panoul de sigurante ( pozitionat in partea dreapta ) dar si stergatoarele au ramas la fel , adica pozitionate opus fata de masinile cu volan pe stanga.
