When I hit 10 million subscribers I’m buying one of these for my home gym 😂
Subscribed to help you get there, good luck finding room in your home though :p
This statement may haunt you some day. I look forward to a 30 minute falling montage with Rocky music.
😂😂😂😂
My only regret is that I have but one account to give.
If you don't hit 10 million subs by 2026 I'll run naked on said treadmill.
Oh, Mark. Another 116 minutes and you’d have made it. Have a look at Kipchoge on that clip when he finishes. He looks like he’s popped out to the shops. Just incredible. I always say you need to see these pro’s in real time just to appreciate how good they are and how fast they move. Another belly laugh vid fella. Great stuff.
Exactly - he crosses the line waving at the crowd 😂
I mean he looks like he's just out for a jog when he's doing it, not like he's covering 100m every 15 seconds, it's pretty insane
I was watching (live webcast) when Kipchoge broke the WR in Berlin, the race where he started with 3 pacers and then sped up after dropping the last one around halfway.
He looked totally relaxed, didn't look to be moving that fast. Then they'd switch to a side-on view, and I'd notice that the background was kinda motion-blurred. Ridiculously fast.
I reckon that gives me a reasonable grasp on how fast he really is, but hell yeah I'd love to have a go on the Tumbleator. No way I'd survive Kipchoge marathon pace anywhere near as long as Mark did, but I reckon I could manage 20+ mph very briefly. Got the strength and coordination, but forget about the cardio to sustain it...
my best friend runs for fun, and never really understood why. But I went to support him in one of his half marathon runs (he's underaged so he cant run full marathons) and it was mesmerising watching them float on air and run in that pace for 2 hours, it inspired me to run, i blew my own mind when i ran for the first time for 20 mins straight, then 30 mins then 50??!?!?!??!?! I love running, i am at that point where i feel itchy when i dont. now i understand =))
Professionals are born. Others can't do it
That pace looks insane! Well done for getting 3:30 and providing us with a huge slice of entertainment.
Jen's giggling of care and concern :)))
She giggling BEFORE your fall :))
As a fellow 50 year old refusing to grow old gracefully, I really enjoy your videos and your willingness to have a go at hard things
To run a 2:51 km at your age is just outstanding, Mark! And to have carried on at that pace for another 40 seconds is incredible!
"so many I think Jen may have slipped him a tenner" I don't know how you come up with these but it's just gold
Mark it seems your bangers always involve running very fast and some rubber, i can just see this video going viral. Loved it
Got to give the people what they want 😂
Agreed, did not love it!
I cannot fathom this pace!!! You did great 👌👌
Thank you for focusing on the pace … and not the duration 😂 🙏
@@MarkLewisfitness 3 mins 30 was plenty!!! Enough to pretend you could hold that for a full marathon, you are practically there 😅😅😅👌👌👌
@nuttyfoodiefitness yep. It would take interval training to a new level. 😂 3 mins at a time 😂
@@MarkLewisfitness Another minute longer and you get WAY below sub 5 minutes in the mile :D
Had a bit of a crap day and this was by far and away the best 11 minutes of my day, big belly laughs, thank you
Mark, I discovered your videos earlier this year when I had a nasty bout of flu which left me unable to train for around 3 weeks. I was really down during this time and your videos really pulled me through! Fan for life now!
Trying to break my mile PB, going for a 6:30 tonight! That's 15 sec off my current PB, this is inspiring me. Coming to the end of my very first year of running, at the whipper snapper age of 42!
Good luck!
This video is self-deprecating Mark at his best. Lots of fun! Congrats!
Amazing vid Mark! Holding that pace for a few minutes is absolutely nuts, people don't realise how fast that pace is in the first place!
Great effort. Always crazy to me thinking of how Kipchoge keeps it up as long as he does. Super human stuff. Happy running. 🏃🏼♂️
I am crying with laughter 🤣 excellent effort Mark!
This is awesome content 😂 love the positive and humorous vibes
You just won another subscriber my friend!
Love the honesty that comes through your videos, while also being really fun.
Greetings from Uruguay!
Fantastic video and great supportive giggles from Jen.
Jenn was having way too much fun and laughing! Great video of course
That would be due to the pain I was in 😂
Wry cool. Crazy as usual. Love Jen’s reactions. Cheers and happy holidays.
Brilliant! Well done both. Trust you to try the fastest it can go!
Excellent video, Mark! Incredible the capabilities of Kipchoge / other world class runners. Thanks for sharing!
😂😂 quality Mark. You never fail to inspire or bring a smile. CHAPEAU! 🥂
Congratulations 👏🏽👏🏽 plus the added humor was perfect 👌🏽👌🏽
😂😂that was so funny. And informative to be honest. I now know what not to do. Great way to start the day, watching you lark around 😂
Brightened my day Mark, really enjoyed this one!
That was incredible. I'm not sure if I could last 90s on that thing. However, there's zero wind resistance in on this conveyer belt. 21kph wind resistance really does become a factor. It is insane that Kipchoge did this for a full 2 hours.
Well done Mark! A great attempt, way longer than I could hope to last for 😅. Another challenge for you Mark, why don't you try for the 1 mile mark at Kipchoge pace? Another 300 odd metres and you will have it 🤩😅.
And a challenge for Jen is to have her run at the ladies world record marathon pace. Good luck 💪. Thanks for the amazing content ❤
Absolutly incredible that you did over 3 mins at that pace it was like you was flying. Amazing work everyone
I think the difference is on the little treadmill, you're concentrating on not falling off or hitting the edge. On this big one, it's all about the running without the personal injury worries.
9:00 Sheer panic. Love this man.
I can't believe you hit that for 3:30. That is impressive on every level!
I do hope you have 10 million subscribers soon, that’s gonna be a lot of happy people laughing at your shenanigans 🤣🤣🤣
Wow another great watch ..Mark .. great stuff Jenn
Absolutely howling 😂 Such a funny video. Brilliant effort from both of you 🙌🏻
great vid mark! you can use that power-up sound moving forward as a transition sound in future vids. Also the thuds of you hitting the ground haha
Awesome video Mark . Really puts it into perspective how fast these elite runners move at. Keep up the great content !
i discovered this dude today, and bro your sense of humour is amazing .
Brilliant! Loved it mark
This is your best video since the Santa parkrun. I think that I laughed hard enough to scare the neighbours; they probably now think that they live across the hall from a crazy person, so well done you. 😂
Glad you enjoyed it!
Well done. Brave and great effort. Fun too.😂
Super fun to see another Kipchoge experiment. But even more cool to see that those 400/200 meter runners are running faster then physically possible. So amazing. Btw. You inspired me to run a stand-alone marathon and my training has started. Yay
Yeah, for the average devoted runner even hitting 25 kmph (15 mph) for a single second would be way out of reach.
Funny and informative. Thanks Mark! 👍🏾
I laughed a lot watching this Mark. Great stuff 😂💪🙌🏻
Despite being older than you, I can still remember the times back when I was way younger. Very late on a Friday night / Saturday morning I was able to do exactly what you achieved on the last attempt. I was far from hitting 20mph, but I was running down the middle of my street, tanked to the gills on lager, and trying to out sprint all of shadows that were chasing me..........thank goodness for maturing.
Another brilliant production!
Can't remember the last time I laughed so much 😂 thanks!!! 3 minutes pretty impressive 👌
Wow Mark!! Love the idea of challenging yourself and still having fun👍 Of course we don’t want you to take a tumble🤗
You are a lucky man. Your wife is adorable! That being said, Kipchoge is absolutely insane. Almost superhuman... And the falls, yes, were kinda funny. Well done!
Nonsense .... Brilliant !!! laughed so much !! Have a great Xmas Mark & Gen
Gave me a good aul laugh this morning with Jen giggling away!
Dying here Mark!! 😂😂😂. Brilliant video, not laughed this much in ages. Keep up the great work 💪
Glad to hear 😂
Haha incredible top end speed 🔥🔥 great to watch!
The duck pond footage made it in again! Another great video, stunned at your top speed
Brilliant mate well done. 😂😂😂
Absoltely fantastic Mark and Jen 😂
I'm amazed at how quickly and gently it slows down
Yep. Super responsive
You never fail to entertain! 😂
Watched this video pretty much as soon as it was uploaded and it was great and very funny. However I was elsewhere and finally got the Cardio Dolphin reference 🤣🤣🤣🐬
I love your show. Thank you so much!!!!
Super impressive Mark. You are an inspiration.
Entertaining indeed. Thanks for sharing!
Awesome! Loved it!!
Like a Gazelle being chased by a lion through a swamp marsh while having a stroke from the shear fear of the chase. Jen gave me a great laugh with her bouncing strides 😂😂😂😂😂
That was your funniest video so far Mark 😂😂 up there with collapsing off off your bike in your pain cave 😅😅
Epic video Mark well done for lasting that long that's insane!!
Thanks 👍
I have stood at the sidelines of the Berlin Marathon and watched the pros race by. Their speed is just insane, makes your hair flow from the wind they create. Equally impressive is seeing such a powerful human machine up close. The energy and the determination their aura emits is something else. The first group always consists of runners from Kenia and Ethopia, closely followed by Japanese, European and American pros.
And most of them are not smiling and jogging around after crossing the finishing line. I have seen them collapsing, writhing on the road and VOMITING. At one point, there were five African runners all on their fours and vomiting simultaneously. Didn't look very healthy or glorious. But you won't see that on the news, they cut away before they collapse.
Perfect! I was just looking for someone to move my large amounts of stuff out of my quarry
Nothing worse than stuff in your quarry that you can't shift!
That tumble was almost as epic then your zwift bike collapse. Can relate so kudos mate !
I haven't laughed so hard in forever. Thankyou.
So much fun. Really made me smile
Great vid as always Mark! Is there a way to include live readings from your watch on screen while you are running, showing heart rate etc? Would be interesting to see.
hahah great vid I was laughing out loud! :D
This was awesome to see! this video was so funny!! would love insights on running faster and what you would improve to get your faster pace looking more easy like the 10 min pace you ran -- I would watch a follow up video....my 10 min pace looks like your kipchoge pace 🤣
Unfortunately, I know very little 😂 I just make it up as I go along 😂
That was amazing, well done
No video is complete without the duck pond.
How awesome that Jen got up to Kiphoge's speed, very impressive for a regular not serious runner, I'd love to have a go at it- looks fun! My usual pace is around 11-12kmph so that's double my norm- but for a whole marathon?! crazy!
Simply great!😂
Awesome! You two are both great sports! ty
best vid yet!!!
well done with the run, damn you're inspirational.
Was in Kenya last year, near where Kipchoge is from (Nandi District). Our relatives told us that it was only his side of the family, and a specific side of the District, that are the good runners. Others simply weren’t as good. Genes clearly playing a major factor. We also heard ‘other things’ … the advantages of training literally hundreds of miles away from prying eyes ……
Super well done on this
20mph is impressive. I was coming of the treadmill at 19.5, when I was young, light, and in good running shape (17min 5k). Great job!!
I definitely appreciate watching you dramatically falling off various pieces of exercise equipment. This one is a highlight! 😂
Great content!
😂 absolutely brilliant
Great Video, Very Entertaining
That pace is insane, well done. Love your videos, always original. Hardest geezer would run the lenght of africa in 2.5 weeks at this pace :)
Love the commitment on the 20mph attempt haha.
The camera work of you falling off the treadmill in the intro was incredible.
Great video Mark. You are so committed 😅
Brilliant effort 👍
The shot of Jen and Phoebe running next to each other killed me - that was so funny!!!
Hard to tell them apart 😂
Took one or two for the team!! Better you than me Mark. Another great video!!
Amazing. Great effort, and it really makes you realize how fast Kipchoge ran, for so long. It's utterly insane. And let's also not forget that on a treadmill you don't have to drive your body forward and you don't have to fight wind resistance. You just have to keep up with the pace of the treadmill, while your body remains at a literal standstill. My personal mile time increases by about 30 seconds in real life versus on a treadmill. That's how big a difference it is.
So glad you put the phobie clip in as I was thinking that 😂
This was awesome to watch. Thanks for the effort and bouncing off the ground multiple times for our enjoyment!
She slipped him a tenner OMG laughing out loud 😂😂😂
