I’m pretty sure the identify theft part refers to the Goron in the inn that has the same name as link. If I remember right you’re able to use his reservation and “steal his identity” before he gets there because of you having the same name. Many people believe this Goron is the counterpart to Darunia’s son in Hyrule that Darunia named after Link

Hi, I enjoyed the video but I felt like several of the items lacked context -- for instance, when you say that the hand reaching out from the toilet is a reference to a Japanese ghost story it just ends there, and I'm left wondering what exactly this is referring to. I would like to know more but I don't even know what this myth is called so that I can search for it. I'd also love to hear more about your thoughts on the theories surrounding many of the iceberg entries. I hope this is constructive criticism 😅

If you haven’t been able to find out the story yet, it refers to the story of a yokai who lives in bathrooms. It’ll ask you what colour of toilet paper you want, red or blue. If you pick red, you get stabbed to death, and if you pick blue, you get strangled (until you’re blue)

I've had my own theory for a while that the Snowpeak Ruins was actually Link's home and that after it was ambushed he tried to escape with his family in the Faron Woods before being forced to lure their pursuers away into the Lost Woods getting himself lost along the way, this would also mirror his own story in a tragically poetic way.
This is the one of the only Zelda games I actually finished and nearly went full completionist on it yet is the only game in the series I just simply don't like. While I loved the themes and story felt like there wasn't enough of it relying more on feeling immersed in the world by the side content (only 4 main dungeons and the moon being proof of this) rather than focusing more on the story and impact of incoming apocalypse. I managed to finish it and even unlocked the fierce diety mask by the end game but at that point was so frustrated and over it that I was more than happy to just spam the B button with fierce diety link on Majora to get it over with so looks like my favorite is still Ocarina of Time nearly 25 years later...

I disagree to a small extent with this one because : SPOILER BELOW
I interpreted Ganon's final act in TOTK, draconification, as him saying, fuck it, if I'm going down Hyrule's coming with me. He does still mentions ruling it, I guess, but would be unable to as a dragon. As Mineru says, "to become an immortal dragon is to lose oneself".
In that same scene he also mentions casting Hyrule in eternal night (which is kind of the same as destroying it, although that's open to interpretation I guess).
It's like Hitler at the end of WW2 when Hitler realises he's lost so wants Germany to go down with him
In another point : it seems 98 was quite a year for timeline split movies. I only know as I like(d) Aqua, and mind they did a song for a movie called Sliding Doors, aptly called 'Turn Back Time'

The mask was an inspiration from the pre-Columbian Brazilian tribe Marajoara, as you guys can see, it was also the inspiration for the game title.

Zonai tribe came from "the sky" so they are aliens, especially considering thier advanced technology.
Also according to Three Goddesses lore from SS, thier home is Distant Nebula, to which they've returned after Hyrule creation, they could be aliens too if this place is like regular space nebulae and not some another dimesion.
This has never been considered the greatest Zelda game by ANYONE but you lol it’s good, even one of my faves. Nowhere near the greatest 😂

The most logical solution to the fierce deity is that it's adult Link. As young Link was called to save Termina so too adult Link. Only in Ocarina's future travelling to Termina bring you to it's past.
Majora's Mask is not the Black Sheep. Zelda 2 is the Black Sheep.
