    I think for young kids on gnarly/crunchy concrete OJ Mini Super Juice are the way to go. 55mm 78A and when you've leveled up you can do tricks with them. For straight up cruising I love the OJ Mini Hot Juice. You won't need risers with your Indys. Lastly wait until you see the OJ Thunder Juice wheels in person. They're huge!!

    RODE OJ III's from the 90's and they could absolutely rip on dirt trails. OJ makes an awesome variety of wheels. I prefer Spitfires for the hards (yes, ive skated elites) but OJ's definitely go off. Ricta cores pop, Bones are great but usually too expensive, and budget wheels definitely have their place while grinding for trick perfection.

    Super stoked to try the Nomads. 95a sounds prefect for me. Not a fan of super hard wheels. I've always thought 99 and 101 are way harder than what's needed for street skating. For normal skaters who aren't jumping down 15 stairs, 95A will give you all the hardness you need but feel smoother and less wear on your feet.

    • @61936
      @61936 Před 4 měsíci

      Honestly I would say 95a is a bit to soft unless your skating some real crusty street spots but other then that I would say 97a is better or a bigger 99a but agreed why you wanna skating street on 101a wheel like you need perfect ground for those wheels

    From personal experience,
    Key frames are a great wheel! They’re amazing for cruising and filming it’s not that hard and you can’t really power slide but they roll super smooth.
    Elites are a great contender against STF and F4s. They grip and roll great and like I said, they perform at that level
    Insane-a-thane are trash and feel like chalk, they sucked at street and they definitely managed to go from these to their elite formula.

    You should do a video about Slimeballs wheels. Same urethane and distributor as OJ wheels.

    You just can’t beat OJs. Any style and any hardness just work. They are consistently great and they offer a lot of sick styles so you don’t get ugly ass yellow wheels that can’t stay white more than a minute.

      Same factory yet, but both make different durometers and shapes. So make sure you pay attention to that!
