The Electro Voice 667A Vs. RE-20

The Electro Voice RE-20 has been a popular dynamic microphone for years, however they have a predecessor that also has a great sound - the 667A. The older 667A has a darker character that is worth comparing with the RE-20. In this video we listen to these two microphones on guitars and drums!

I concur with 667A on kick drum. I used it outside the drum as a second mic and loved the character. Also on loud vocals. czcams.com/video/JW57vBNQatY/video.html
