What is the lifetime max dose someone can take on this, 8,000-16,000mg? That would seem to equate to 125-250mg/kg. What if acne still is present towards upper limit of that, is it possible after getting off the medicine that the skin can still normalize over time?

I will say this , it did stop my acne.. but was it worth it? NO, I have joint pain all day every day. It didn't go away as they said. It's been 15 yrs and still suffer from it.
That Doctor spoke fast and didn't answer questions. And he didn't debunk any myths. Pregnancy Birth defects is A HUGE side affect, but there are ALSO MANY MORE . Please ask many questions and do your research before taking it . When I took it, I was young and in pain, depressed, it spread easily and I just wanted the cystic acne gone. Accutane is one of my biggest regrets taken.

I also got some of the more intermediate side effects like joint pain, wich is really annoying. And unfortunately I got ed, obviously not a serious case since I’m 18 but I’m not the same as I used to be before acutane. I also unfortunately have suicidal thoughts multiple times a day. The doctor says that the side effects are SERIOUS AND REAL so pay close attention to that.
He also goes on to say that dermatologists have a lot of experience dealing with the various side effects. Unfortunately that's NOT TRUE!
He also commented on 6 months of pain. But that's only the amount of time that you would be taking this drug (which was initially intended as a chemo therapy drug).
Every dermatologist will say that they don't have any patients who have suffered from severe side effects. That's because as you go down a rabbit hole, you'll try to figure out what's going on with your health.
It won't lead you back to a dermatologist. You can suffer permanently from joint pain, muscle pain, chronic fatigue, EXCESSIVE AND PAINFUL dry eyes (MGD), Iow testosterone levels, B12 deficiency, magnesium deficiency. The list goes on.
CHANGE YOUR DIET and eliminate dairy and grains!

Imagine if we had a medical system with ethical doctors who treated acne from the root cause? You know how many people pointlessly have their lives destroyed from this drug when their acne was a result of things like dietary sensitivities or hormonal imbalances and could’ve have been treated properly. Drugs like this are such an ill founded way of treating an issue.

When you have severe cystic nodular acne it ruins your life and most people who take accutane have tried diet changes and already drink lots of water and exercise and use all the bs products. People don’t take this drug for fun and for most people it is the only thing that has helped their skin so that they can have a normal life.

Hi there, that's a great question. Accutane can have some potential side effects, but low testosterone is not typically one of them. It is best to consult with a physician to discuss any questions or concerns you may have regarding the use of Accutane. Have you discussed this with your doctor?

This acne guide *AcneCureOnline. Com* is very useful for my daughter that is why she definitely love it. We have already expended a hefty amount of money trying various acne cures for over a year now but not one of them had worked. I am thankful that we`ve found out this guide. We observed an apparent distinction within a couple of days and within a few weeks her acne had cleared up.
