You're very welcome. I made this compilation awared of the lack of compilations of this type, and as you say, you can't deny the cheesy video era, the past.
Thank you for uploading this. I love these old idents. I love seeing the elaborate opticals based ones but you can't deny the cheesy, video era, DVE versions don't have their ephemeral charm and kinda take you back. Great stuff!
Awesome...I especially haven't seen the ITC logo with the ATV byline in years. I last saw it on an early print of 'The Fantastic Miss Piggy Show' as a little girl.
More than a few wouldn't be familiar with the Last Note Nightmare on the Atomic/Epicfield logo at the beginning, but Shock Film Company (1:00) was just... wow. It's scarier than what CLG Wiki thought. www.closinglogos.com/page/Shock+Film+Company Plus, it looks too new for 1970. It could be early computer effects, or the company time traveled to the early 80's for the graphics. Or maybe the logo was just from 1982.
The credits at 11:52 say the music is from something from 1983 called Wanderlust. What is Wanderlust, a film, album, or something? I can't find anything similar to the music you used.
+LogicSmash I'm really curious now. Do you have any sort of info on the movie? Who made it, who's in it, what it's about, etc. Even the company that distributed it would give me a better idea where to look.

Why are these so amazing!? Oddly, I can just watch these idents all day.

The AEP logo at the beginning, despite it didn't, looked realistic.
ABC Pictures International is an underrated and beautiful logo.

These don't really seem "retro futuristic", but are all entertaining!
What exactly is Dark Vision? Its logo at 2:32 kind of looks modern.

Any chance I can get you to do an animation of my production Company logo similar to what you are showing?
Talk to professionals, like Luminatics

The 1983 movie "Wanderlust" had that music on the ending credits.
Do you have any sort of link to the song yourself? I can't find a thing about anything with that title from 1983.

The film isn't "Wanderlust" but actually "Wavelength". You can find more info here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wavelength_%281983_film%29
