I'd like to thank people who uploaded these logos and brought me sweet (or scary) memories or simply made me laugh !
In order of appearance, these logos are properties of BBC, Bryanston Pictures, CTW, Walt Disney, FHE, Genesis, Golden Book/GoldenVision, Mark VII, OECA, Paramount, PBS, RCA Videodiscs, Renaissance Pictures, RKO, Screen Gems, Simitar, THX, United Artists, Viacom, VID TV (ВИD), View Askew, Weiss, WGBH and World Vision. - Krátké a kreslené filmy
The RCA video discs logo actually helps to calm my nerves and to relax my mind... Anyone else agree?

My favorite:Mk VII LTD. I used to get my dad's claw hammer and chisel and try to make roman numerals in a piece of steel. It was not as easy as the logo made it look,lol!

Yeah, some of these are pretty jarring. Powerful! Scary! Corporate Logos, Attack! You are on an alien-ship, you are being held against your will and you are being mutated, mwa-ha-ha!
The BBC one sent shivers down my spine. I remember that one...I feel old now.
It was on my copy of The Singing Detective.
I was listening to the sound on the Mark VII Limited logo, and wondered: "Where did I hear that before"
And then it hit me: That was the same sound Williams Street used for their logo. LOL

I remember the first time I saw that THX logo. I had the TV volume really loud and scared the shit out of me.

I used to have the THX "music" on minidisc just to have it as my alarm in the morning. These are great.
A lot of these logos remind me of the future that I figured would come about sooner or later in my childish mind in the '80s. I always pictured buttons everywhere and lasers and all that. Especially the Genesis logo.
Screen Gems never scared me. Viacom does a little, but it also brings back memories. What were the RKO guys thinking?! Too many coke parties in the '80s.
Knowing the histories behind Bryanston and BИD make them that much scarier.

Great compilation, and pretty good quality on some of those.
I think it's the audio themes that make them so scary. Some of them are an "assault" on the ears. Nicely put together, by the way.
I want the audio for the WGBH one as a ringtone to be completely honest. It sounds so awesome! I don't find it anywhere near scary.

Wish they kept the old BBC logo that appeared at the end of stuff that was broadcast in the USA. Mark VII was pretty simple, but impressive. I wish they'd bring the old PBS. Screen Gems is always a good one. WGBH - always meant something *great* was about to come on.

What do you mean at 4:26 by "this is not old"? That United Artists logo is from the early '80s. And it always gave me the goose flesh, by the way.
Seeing the WBGH Boston logo late at night used to scare me as a very young kid.
Yeah...that View Askew one creeped me out -all "John Wayne Gacy"- and all...and the Renaissance one was scary as hell.

Mark VII Limited was Jack Webb's (Dragnet) production company, and those were his own hands holding the hammer and die. He eventually sold his company to Universal.

Viacom Acquired Paramount in 1994 and Started Releasing Clueless in 1995 on VHS and LaserDisc With a DVD Version in 1999 as Well as a Blu-ray Disc Version in 2012. The Paramount Home Video Website is Shown Only on DVDs Such as Clueless and Clockstoppers.

In my opinion, old TV logos were way too ominous and scary. They made you feel like something scary was going to happen soon.
And then left you with a void of silence for about 3 minutes.
