I honestly don't think any other female child voice actress has matched Kathryn's charisma and personality ever since. Such an infectious and charming energy she brought to Wendy and Alice, it was like she was born to play them.

It's AMAZING to see how many of her manneirisms are integrated into Alice and Wendy, I kept seeing the characters through her all the time, how magical.

I was born in 2000 and Peter Pan and Alice in Wonderland were 2 of my very favourite movies as a child. I love how Wendy and Alice have very similar faces as they were played by the same actress, and I just love her accent.

It has been my dream to meet her someday. Alice in Wonderland made me want to go into film and now I have a BA in film and communications. I’m getting close. Hopefully I’ll meet her along the way in my career

It seems that her English accent has diluted a little bit from the amount of time she’s spent in the US. I’ve seen this happen with a couple of British people I’ve seen. It’s essentially the most natural development of the Trans-Atlantic accent (that particular way you see most people in film in the 30s-50s talk) that I’ve seen, since the accent was conceived to be a combination of American and British ways of speaking. She essentially arrived at it totally organically through osmosis which is fascinating.
That’s not true.
The transatlantic accent is a totally affected dialect, that was taught in dialect classes. It’s not something that develops because it’s simply not something that anyone speaks anymore
Ms Beaumont’s accent is just a mixture of English and American. There are some distinctly American vowel sounds in there, that’s not transatlantic
@@bigred8432 That’s why I said it was “the most *natural* development” of that accent, i.e. she just by diffusion developed a natural accent that is similar to the Trans Atlantic. Did you not read the end of my comment where I specifically noted that? After all, the Trans Atlantic accent _was_ specifically designed to be a combination between English and American accents, so you basically just reiterated my point by accident.
