  • Today we will test out the new Harbor Freight Warrior cordless power cutters on multiple items including a DVD that we will cut in multiple pieces. Other items that we will cut through will be a magazine, roofing underlayment, a kid's sandal, paper, cloth, leather, 1/8" thick rubber mat, toolbox liner, plastic packaging, cardboard, and so much more.
We will push the 4V Lithium-Ion Cordless Power Cutter and see if it handles jobs that traditional scissors can’t. It is supposed to featuring a self-sharpening blade and a maximum 1/4 in. cutting capacity which you can see when you meet and exceed this capacity the power cutter will tend to clog or jab and you will have to back out and try again. This tool cuts through paper, cloth, carpet, leather, plastic packaging, cardboard, and most things with relative ease. This tool was built with a rubberized non-slip handle and blade guard that help guide you when cutting, for precision cuts each and every time. Powered by a 1.5Ah Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery, this tool will fully charge in under 4-6 hours and hold its charge for an extended period of time.
I hope I was able to demonstrate and see that this tool is easy to use and will cut through many of the items you would or could expect to use it on.
Should you want more details this item can be found online or at you local Harbor Freight store.
    www.harborfrei...
This product does qualify for the 20% of coupons when available and this product does have the Harbor Freight standard 90 days warranty from the date of purchase to be free from defects in materials and workmanship. It does come with one extra blade which is easy to change.
It retailed for $39.99 and after discounts and taxes I paid $34.23

Here's the "major fail" with both the Warrior power scissors and the Bauer cordless screwdriver: They didn't go with a USB charging port! Lose or break the charger and you're finished.
Any of these low power cordless tools with non-removable batteries should have either a micro-USB or USB Type-C port! I won't buy a cordless tool like that if it has a proprietary wall wort charger. It's just one more thing taking up space that can break or get lost.

I'm sold on this product. Hope the local HF has it in stock. This video review was fun to watch because you jumped right into the topic without making me watch a silly opening: the pace was fast; and, I didn't have to listen to five minutes of a story before getting to the review. Great work! I subscribed.

big time saver for cutting flooring underlayment ... I had the stuff with both a thick fibrous layer as well as the thin plastic vapor barrier and cutting a 25 foot section lengthwise was a breeze with this .. snap a chalk-line and just run it down the line against the floor ... well worth the money even if it died right after the job was done (not that it did). side note ... you do need to cut with the plastic side down or the fibers will get gummed up between the cutting blade and the block it cuts against.

Although I found it on CZcams cutting through carpeting, that is the one thing I would have added to this video.. Some carpeting, as carpeting is the one things I hate most to cut through.... And I have a up coming job in my master bedroom, cutting carpet in order to do some tiling, and I don't want to have to move all the furniture out of the room to do it because I have no one to help me,,,, But after finding it here on CZcams cutting through carpet I'm sold and going to my local Harbor Freight to pick up 2 of them because I don't want to have to wait on it to charge in the middle of the job...

    • @ClientGraphics

I would say no because it’s too hard of a material and this is more of a power scissor cutting shear. The blade is sharp but it doesn’t move material and for tempered hardboard it’s usually score and snap or use a powered saw. This thing is more like power scissors.
