I got introduced to this song from big mouth it's 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Charles: talking about changes about his life
Big mouth: changes with my body
this song was inspired by bill ward's divorce
Big mouth talks about changes in their life, because of the changes of their bodies affect the changes in their lives
Yep so profound. We are changing Always!
This song LEGIT hits harder when you're going through something.
Fax. Dad just passed. One of his favorite songs. Can't listen without tears and thinking of him
He originally recorded this straight after getting told his Mother had died, didn't know the song before it, just jumped into the booth and sang his heart out with grief.
Honestly, yes
So, always
bruh all music hits harder when you feel ways
So much sadness in his face. Just wanna give him a hug
Facts...Rest up to him and his mother

He didn’t need a hug he needed to stop being racially terrorized 🤬
@@Chaos-Retribution ... Bro what the hell are you talking about?
i literally walk around like this everyday and no one cares. One thing i have noticed is people care about things when there is some kind of barrier or they see it on the internet but when they happen to see someone on the street literally going through that its like they dont even know how to react.
Something about the emotional, empathetic gravity of Charles Bradley makes this video the shortest and longest 6 minutes you've ever spent watching something. One of the simplest and most complex music videos I've seen. The texture of life isn't found in complex productions and expert marketing, it's found in sharing your humanity with another human.
From any distance, any time spent with Charles is always a gift.
Amazingly said. I wish I had 2 more hands so I could give this comment 4 thumbs up.
Left home at 12
because he was scared his mum would hurt him
Homeless at 12
Battled with awful unemployment, quality of life, literacy and opportunity.
He learnt things, went to shows with his sister for James brown and found an admiration.
He battled through life for a long time, getting jobs wherever he could.
He reconnected with his estranged mother.
At the age of 60/61, Charles Nephew killed Charles's brother.
4-5 years later his mother's health decreased rapidly and she passed away, this MV is shot shortly after her passing.
1-2 years later, doctors discover a cancerous tumour in Charles, he had to cancel his tour, he battled, but eventually the cancer spread to his liver and he lost his battle to cancer.
R.I.P Charles, its a life story well worth looking into.
Like this so everybody can see what this man had to go through, he only started music in his late 50's/early 60's and still made it and became successful, there's no excuse if he can do it all of us can!
Exception is often used as an excuse to not change anything. Truth is the system sucks 🤷🏽♀️
That last sentence is not helpful...
Powerful stuff!
He was going through changes
Thank you for the heartbreaking tale of his life.
That said, as others have stated, exceptionalism shouldn't be the standard.
If you're listening to this on repeat, you probably need someone to talk to.

Charles Bradley, what can you say about that voice!? Got part James Brown, Delbert Mcclinton, many others with those wailing sounds coming forth!! Blessed to hear it!!! Meanwhile sitting in the hospital room watching my own mother fading at 84 Jesus!!
Damn such a sad tune. He's so strong not breaking a single tear while making this video.
Esteban Ramz It’s not his song
Yeah I keep forgetting that.
He still made it personal to him
He does in the live version. I don't blame him though.
He cried so much he can't no more
Like Johnny Cash covering "Hurt", this is one of those songs that makes perfect sense for the artist to sing.
I haven't ever skipped the theme song on big mouth and I've watched the show wayyyy too many times! October 28th is the release for season 6
so hard to watch this without crying. damn you, great music.
I’m crying … facts.
Who would've thought a Black Sabbath song could be covered so beautifully?! You're a legend, Charles Bradley! Sending prayers to you for a speedy recovery!
Tyler Larson - RIP Charles, you'll keep living through your music...
Aside from Johnny Cash’s version of “Hurt”, this is another cover that legit moves me to tears. Just amazing.
musiclover9214 I cry every time I hear Hurt. He made that song his own. And now I feel the same about this one.
Adele "Make you feel my Love" best ever cover for me.
Nirvana - Where Did You Sleep Last Night... Gives me chills every time. Haunting.
❤🤍💙 Southern Soul Music 🎶 I love ❤️ this song ever since I heard it earlier tonight! It's pure & raw & so beautiful 😍! #reality #love #relationships #pain #blues #artful 😭 💔
Mr.Charles Bradley your beautiful voice lives on to help make this flat earth ( Operation Fishbowl in 1962 proved it bitches ) a more beautiful place! #truth
Anyone else love this song as much as I? He did this song such justice. Bet Ozzy loves this version. 🖤
Hello Gretchen 👋 how are you doing today??
I still miss this man 💔
RIP Charles Bradley. Your music made the world a better place
I feel unhappy
I feel so sad
I lost the best friend
That I ever had
She was my woman
I loved her so
But it's too late now
I've let her go
I'm going through changes
I'm going through Changes (in my life)
We shared the years
We shared each day
In love together
We found a way
But soon the world
Had its evil way
My heart was blinded
Love went astray
I'm going through changes
I'm going through Changes (in my life)
It took so long
To realize
That I can still hear her
Last goodbyes
Now all my days
Are filled with tears
Wish I could go back
And change these years
I'm going through changes
I'm going through changes,
In my life, in my life,
There gotta be a change in my life
This little changes, in my life
Folk Tree / 1.? My condolencez....
Now that's a sad song
But I Love It haha
We just came from big mouth man chill
Ahmed Khan grow up little one
Lost my mom back in September, never thought I'd connect to a song like this at the age of 20
I never thought I would at 15... but that's life I guess.
Mr. Charles Bradley took a 1972 metal hit by “Black Sabbath” a grudge heavy metal band & took it to a whole other level!! Bravo, Mr. Bradley!! You made it 💯% better. I can’t even imagine it sung by BS any longer & I grew up hearing that one!! Thank you, Sir!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
P.S. I highlighted Charles Bradley piping this song on TikTok & had “it’s” call me a liar about the facts!! I can’t stand most people! JS
This is........monumental. My God, this was spectacular. I have no other words to truly describe this. Wow. Just wow.
+Greg Picadash - Black Sabbath can have that effect.
Absolutely. Sabbath is one of the all time greats to begin with. This cover is just.....man...... I'm still awestruck.
+Greg Picadash So much heart.
I love this song for how it just puts the feeling of emotional/personable change into sound. The beginning is to me a representation of our day-to-day life but with something different causing a constant discomfort, at 1:13 when the instruments hit were releasing the amalgamation of all this discomfort into sadness over this forced change in our life that we just have to endure because it’s what’s best for us if we want to keep pushing forward.
Beautiful. Real music . Makes me smile that there’s real musicians keeping the blues alive
RIP to a legend!!
"....was the most unfair of deaths!" someone said
Maria Nobre So true.. he deserved a better life
Just so you know when you come to this video, you’re watching and listening to a man mourning his mother after watching her suffer with illness for years.
Yeah, I came here because of big mouth. I wasn't expecting to get such a deep and Beautiful song
I haven’t cried like that in years
He didn't write the song, Black Sabbath did, but I guess changing the meaning is okay.
Stunning ain't it
@@soddiepops3226 Muic is subjective, idiot. You can do what you want/ feel how you want when it comes to a meaning of a song. Black sabbath's version is not nearly as impactful,or as good.
